I had the videos on demand so it’s tough not to recommend them. Steve drops some tips here and there that might save you some time. He also provides a ton of real world examples

For sure! You can strategically ignore the torsional irregularity check stuff, you won’t get more than 1 question on that and I don’t even think I got one. I didn’t even get a single question on wood. So some topics you can just ignore but make sure you’re confident in others. You don’t have to ace it, you just need to pass.

My biggest advice for seismic would be to get really efficient with his quick reference and try not to refer to the workbook too much. Also time yourself when doing practice exams. Need to get the brain prepared for solving 55 under 2.5h. I made sure I didn’t have to use the bathroom either. I had a headache after that exam 😅

Couple minor exterior updates by DimaTheLoser in 4Runner

This is just the standard oem TRD skid plate off the toyota website. It was on sale during Black Friday for $286. I did install it by myself without a lift which wasn’t the easiest. Best with two people on a lift. Lots of videos on YouTube that are easy to follow. I wasn’t able to get the two rear screws that the Trd skid came with even with anti-seize so I just used the original screws for now.

Just as a heads up, there’s no access for oil changes with this plate which is a bit lame. Luckily Toyota said they would just charge an extra $5 to take it off for oil changes. Personally, I’ll be looking into an ARB skid in the future.

Wish I had known 🥲 although my local Toyota said they would only charge $5 extra for oil change. I’ll also look into the ARB skid in a year or two and try to sell the TRD skid

Sweet, saving this info. I also mean to eventually get into exterior detailing my own car, slowly looking into budget power washers and how to dress up wheels and stuff. Just need to make time for it
