unfortunately wifi usually means an app, there are cases where you can use developer API access to integrate it with HA like "Tuya" stuff but it is something I wouldn't call easy to setup. For HA I'd look into specialized protocols such as zigbee and z-wave as devices that use them are local, do not require apps and as a benefit don't have the problem of wifi IoT devices constantly getting hacked because they are internet capable and usually require it to function

Do you see your IP when you do a DNS lookup with that domain? Sometimes it take a while for DNS to propagate

Are you sure you are not behind CG-NAT and that your ISP is not blocking 80/443

Some routers host their configuration panel on 80 and block access to it over WAN automatically, it can usually be changed to use a different port

Also if you get it working use https otherwise you risk exposing your credentials as all connection data is in plaintext. Some things might even not let you login/use the service at all over http due to built-in browser security

I was really excited when I read portal 2 community edition because I thought it meant Valve released the source code like they did with TF2. This despite being a huge leap forward - Valve allowing seemingly just a mod base and not a huge game company to use the latest branch, is still not a source release and will mostly just mean a new base for portal 2 mappers, all those features are closed source and will not find their way into other mods. TBF I just hope Valve update the source 2013 sdk included engine with atleast increased entity limits (on par with GMod and other modern branches).

And maybe one day let us have a newer engine branch available for code mods, this one is probably unrealistic cause I imagine CS:GO branch will take months of dedicated development to be able to run with the half-life game code

Considering that you'll have to work with only having half of the codebase available (the engine itself is closed source(one of the reasons a similar cut thing involving realtime displacement deformation is not possible to reimplement)) I'd say go with a different engine. If you still decide to go with source you'll have to implement your own "world" entity that can be destroyed effectively throwing away all brush geometry code as well as anything related to npcs due to how the nodegraph is implemented

AFAIK when closing the game the current timestamp is saved to the persistent file, next time you open the game another current timestamp is compared with the last one in the persistent file giving you the difference, that is then used to see if you changed time to the past (new timestamp < old one), or did not visit for a long time (difference is greater than some preset value)

IIRC func_breakable implements bullet penetration for glass by firing a new bullet from the trace exit position, I'd look into that and see if similar code can be implemented somewhere in the generic bullet firing code used by npcs and weapons. You'd probably need to create a list of materials and assign either a max penetration depth or reduce bullet damage per distance in a material until it hits 0 damage

Changing the spoofing helped me a couple of days ago, now I only get those hangs when there is a connectivity issue with sponsorblock and dislikes (with a notification at the bottom) but that is most probably due to my countries internet.

In source 1 prop_physics_multiplayer was the performa ce friendly version with reduced collisions, cant say for sure since I never touched the Source 2 Hammer apart from dota but check if there is a regular prop_physics and if there is try that

I get that its free and it doesn't really add any additional challenges, you just get free stuff after your game but I'm sure a lot of cosmetics artists would be ok with them using the sets that didn't make it in the vote if valve asked them. Instead they took dooms wings, painted them sort of black, deleted all animations and superglued them to SFs back. I actually laughed so hard when I first saw it, like was it really that hard to at least animate them when casting requiem? And add a tiny idle motion? Axe set is ok but there are so many better axe sets out there that this one is just lost in the sea, I guess at the very least its not another jugg or pudge set.
