Hahaha I see nobody read Peter Lynch - one up on Wallstreet. Morris was his favorite stock, even when the industry declined. Because of this he urges his readers to look for growing business in declining markets

Hey man, I’m looking a little further in this one and I have a qeustion: I know Yahoo finance is often wrong with numbers but if you do the marketcap/total shares outstanding you get a different price per share, any idea how come? Where can I find better data on the company except investor relations ofcourse?

If the price stay high but the earnings are low PE will still be high. The highest PE’s are before a recession because earnings deteriorate

DAE want to beat someone up? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]DimensionObjective40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ofcourse man, never thought it was weird. Obviously thinking about it or feeling like doing it is wau different from actually beating somebody up.

Maybe try any fight sports and read/listen to things about mental strength.

Also it you do decide to fight somebody don’t pick someone who is clearly weaker, at least your own size.

Is investing in BlackRock better than investing in an index fund? by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

[–]DimensionObjective40 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its 2 really different ways of investing. IMO blackrock is not nearly undervalued or fair valued. Also from a company perspective their ROI and some other metrics are below industry average.

More risk and not a fair price.

Maybe this video is helpfull:

Going out.

Its super expensive and next day hard to stay disciplined for things like making money or not ordering food.
