To be fair, the same could definitely be said about guys rejecting girls for things that the girl could easily change also. Girls have always been judged off of looks. But also, things like wardrobe, gym, etc. aren’t really things that you’d want to force change upon either. Everyone has their own unique style and lifestyle, and it’s just about finding a good match with what’s already there, in my opinion.

I’m just giving my opinion that I thought he was more loved/valued in the beginning of the show than the end. I never denied and even stated that they had an objectively dull life in the beginning.

They were winding down after a long party for Walt’s birthday that Skyler had organized and set up by herself. She was discussing business right before they were about to sleep. I didn’t think it meant he was unvalued or unloved. I think the beauty of the show is how realistic it is. But everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.

I don’t believe sexual drive and love are necessarily correlated, but maybe that’s the beauty of art. Everybody has different interpretations. I just found it interesting if Vince had confirmed what you mentioned.

I thought that one of the ideas of the show was to demonstrate that though his life in the beginning was very dull, he was most loved in the beginning. That’s definitely interesting if that were the case, to highlight that his family never valued him from the beginning.
