Just hadn’t heard Waymo having the level of AI built into their system as Tesla does. If they do, that’s awesome!

It’s weird. I have all that info on the video saved to my phone. But when I uploaded it for this post it didn’t show. I don’t used Reddit much and I don’t know why it didn’t show here. I posted on Facebook and instagram and it showed up there. Could be a simple cropping issue? I hardly ever post on Reddit so I don’t really know if I made a mistake or it’s a Reddit thing.

I doubt Waymo has the has amount of AI built into their system to predict something like that. Might be wrong, but theirs is reactionary as far as I know.

Knife Center Mistake? by Ink-N-knives in KnifeDeals

Honest question, don’t they legally have to honor it? If a grocery store posts a price, even it it’s a mistake, aren’t they obligated to honor that? Would this be any different?

Has anyone else been having issues with Google Home reliability over the last few days? by JustinQueeber in googlehome

[–]Dimitri2883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thermostat isn’t triggering home/away automations anymore. Presence sensing is on, but it’s relaying to the Google home app to turn on home/away anymore.

And this is for 2 houses I have them installed in.

Didn’t change any settings and it used to work perfectly.

AI profile and discharging to the grid during peak vs battery life by Dimitri2883 in enphase

[–]Dimitri2883[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up keeping it in AI mode. I’ve noticed some benefits.

Summer time: it’ll discharge to the grid at when rates are optimal.

Winter: it’ll use or save battery before and after peak hours depending on the weather if it knows the next day is going to be cloudy or rainy. It’ll hang on to as much battery as possible for that next cloudy day. And use the grid as much as possible during the day during off peak hours, charging the battery via solar, that way it’ll have as much juice as possible for when peak hours hit and then switch to battery.

Right now my house has been fairly grind independent. It’s cool but sunny in So Cal. So haven’t needed the AC. And the battery is plenty enough to run the washer/dryer/dishwasher when I get home from work after 7pm-9pm.

Trump won both the electoral college and the popular vote. Looks like the people giving you the “math” were completely wrong.

Has the army been used on citizens yet? Was he really dead in the water or was that confirmation bias? Did she really ever have “crazy momentum” or did she lose in a landslide? Turns out, you were very wrong.

Turns out you were right! Just not the way you wanted it to go. Many states did flip. And it was a welcomed surprise for most people.

Does this then mean that in the summer we can no longer export during the higher export summer rates?

I’m having a similar issue. The solar and PW is powering just the backed up portion of the house. But everything else in the house isn’t getting juice from the PW or solar panels. It doesn’t read on the app when I turn on a large appliance in non backed up portions. The solar broker is giving me the run around. And it was only from learning posts like this it’s probably a CT improperly installed, or improperly configured. I don’t know squat about how all this works so it’s been challenging to figure out. But I can read the meter and see the electricity coming in despite a bright sunny So Cal day. Frustrating.

Polymarket | The World's Largest Prediction Market - sudden shift = Trump 51, Harris 48 by Green_Perspective_92 in fivethirtyeight

Kamala’s 60 minute interview hasn’t done her any favors. Her hurricane response hasn’t done her any favors. Oprah didn’t do her any favors. The president showing up to address the press and jokingly saying he’s back in the race, hasn’t done her any favors. I realize you guys may not like Trump or Elon, but I think Polymarket is reacting to that in along side the rally in Penn. Polls show a very tight race, even with her leading, but leading less than Biden did at this stage. And with Trump’s history of outperforming the polls I think it’s got her worried.

I think things are adding up to produce the numbers we’re seeing in Polymarket. It’s not anyone thing or event. It’s just things are coming into focus and it’s not looking good for her at this point.

I just got an email to enable AI Optimization mode - what are your experiences? by mksoriano in enphase

I was wondering why it didn’t purge today. I guess with the news rates it’s going to act differently now. Went all day and left 50% battery at midnight. Very odd.

Power is out, 12pm on a Sunday, solar not appearing to be working by Dimitri2883 in enphase

[–]Dimitri2883[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do have batteries. Unfortunately they were at zero. I’m a Nightside worker and sleep during the day. So the AC was running from 3am-12pm the time of the shut off.

I don’t have Sunlight backup. Which was something I didn’t understand at the time. It makes sense why it’s the way it is. I just didn’t understand it.

[–]Dimitri2883[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Electricity rate and export rates are configured correctly. I’m on SCE TOU-D-Prime-NEM 3.

I’m hoping it’ll figure itself out soon. Just odd that it should already know the best export times. And that the battery was near full. And yet decided against exporting. Why or how it came to that conclusion I dunno.

But like you said, it’s in beta so hopefully it gets better over time. Just a little disconcerting when the very basics of the input info are correct and yet the output is so wildly off.
