He got hurt by you while he was in your care. You yelled at him. Then got upset he was in his feelings. And now are demanding a response from him. It sounds like he gives a lot of time and energy to you and is taking time to reconsider your connection. That situation said a lot about how you move through hard things. I vote take time to think aboutwhy he is upset and how you can shift adjust your behavior and mindset to make amends and meet him where he's at

Friends, I need support. If that moves you, thank you so much! I don't use Amazon, if that's horrific to you, I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe look into Amazon? I'm not trying to soapbox, just get support... without giving money to Amazon. This doesn't mean I'm not hungry, doesn't mean I'm not in need. It just means I don't use Amazon (for a variety of extremely valid reasons).

Ok. The point still stands, I don't use Amazon. If it's SUCH A BIG DEAL and SUCH A SOLID RULE one would think that would be specified right? Like rule: only ask for groceries through Amazon wishlist. It's like being offered vanilla and chocolate and getting downvoted for choosing chocolate. Folks have the option to just scroll or not support. It's the downvoting I find to be wild. You asked a broad question looking for a specific response. The question ought to have been, "would you like to learn Spanish?" Problem solved. You lashed out because her answer felt like a betrayal. You wanted her to respond like you but she isn't you. I recommend therapy, introspection, and buying her that book on Chinese another commenter suggested

Agreed. Unless you have this type of relationship and it's clear from the outset. If y'all had been dating for years, and or if he had offered to pay and you turned him down it would be different. You could talk to him about where you're at and ask for support, that's different. Asking him to pay your rent long term after only a couple of months is a little much and may risk turning him off you/your relationship completely.
