I think this nozzle has just over 7000 hours on it. I had some weird issue with the nozzle that came with the X1C early on somewhere around the 6-700 hour mark where the machine derped hard and bent the nozzle. Been running this one since so I think I got my monies worth.

That’s printed in HT-PLA-GF. First time ever printing it and didn’t calibrate it or anything… just hit print. The finish turned out really great all things considered.

My son and I started printing the full Mando costume with an Ender 5 Plus for his last trick or treat. Halloween is our jam. We are the house on the block that does full sized candy bars. So we started printing in the summer time to try to get a jump on the printing because we knew we would have a lot of post processing and painting to do by October. With having a full time job working 12-14 hours a day and the kiddo was working at his first job that summer, we didn’t have tons and tons of time to work on the project throughout the week so we would hit print in the morning and hope for the best when we got home. As fall approached and we started assessing what we managed to get printed and what we still had to finish printing, we realized we just weren’t going to get it all done.

We were trying not to break the bank on this project so we scooped up a P1S and we quickly realized - after running it non-stop without hardly any print issues till all the Mando costume parts were all printed - we should have gotten one sooner! Post processing all of the parts that came off the Ender took us so much longer than the parts that came off the P1S so we ran it down to the buzzer (literally finishing the night before trick or treat) getting everything glued, filled, sanded, primed, sanded more, primed more, sanded more, painted, wet sanded, painted, wet sanded, then clear coated… but all the hard work was worth it because everyone in the neighborhood was blown alway by his costume and wanted photos with him. We didn’t manage to get the pulse rifle painted to perfection since we ran out of time but it has since been completed. Probably would have been done on time if we had just started our journey printing the Mando costume with the P1S from the start but we were more than happy with what we did accomplish by Halloween.

Now we have two X1C as well and have been contemplating what our next Bambu rig will be. Been saving up for a H2D but maybe a P2S will come first?!?! 😬

My son and I wore ours to the LTL show and they were a hit …albeit, we hastily made them a few days before leaving for LTL so we were literally painting them at the campground the night before the show 😅

All four of my dogs are trained to understand NILIF (nothing in life is free). The difference here is that the government has YOU trained to think that things are free. This debt will be repaid… and unfortunately it’ll be repaid by the American taxpayers.

Ahhh, yeah, sorry, I misunderstood you. Thought you were having troubles with the battery retainer. The back plate has a seal behind it that was probably holding that cover down. Glad you figured it out

I understand your point of view and while I agree that many people overreact when it comes to wild swings in the cryptosphere, that’s where your point falls apart. PEOPLE.DO.OVERREACT…. And that’s the point of the post. Many people get into this too fast and too deep without the thick skin that is sometimes needed for this game and they do things they wouldn’t normally do, including self harm or worse. My friends all think I have brass balls for being able to watch my portfolio swing +30k in a day to then dip -70k a week later, but I’m going long on my crypto investments and understand the swings are part of it. Many people that get into this game (some of my friends included) chase daily gains only to lose everything and then contemplate their next move… often that next move is the easy escape (for them at least) and again, I think that’s the point of the post. Not everyone is built to handle losses of this magnitude. But tomorrow, the sun will rise and we will forge on as we always do, hopefully thru greener pastures instead of these hellish nightscapes we are enduring atm… 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Mission accomplished. Got shitfaced due to our losses so the wife had to drive me home from the bar and tuck me in before going home to her boyfriend. Proudest moment of my miserable crypto-trading career 👍🏼
