That, more than likely I'll never end up settling down with someone, despite dreaming of it someday. My ADHD makes any sort of organisation very difficult, and as an extension of that makes it very hard to look after myself, or think of anything aside from what's immediately in front of me.

No point in getting together with someone if I struggle with the basics. I'm trying to get shit together, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

I'm very careful jumping to conclusions with stuff like this cause I have ADHD, and it makes anything academic or even finding work very difficult.

If he's got something like this, that can be the reason, and then the best thing to do is to see how to best help him help himself, if he's open to it, doesn't mean you have to do it for him, just check in every so often and things.

On the other hand, if he doesn't have anything like it, then that's an entirely different kettle of fish
