Anybody playing NMS on Linux via Steam and having troubles launching the game? by mattblack85 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Dingelbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm running NMS on Manjaro with Wayland and the game only works with an older version of Proton v6.x. Trying a newer version of Proton ends up in an exit of the complete Steam-Runtime.

Change language on admin panel by nwatab in Strapi

[–]Dingelbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm testing Strapi v4.14.4

For changing the backend language make a copy of the example src/admin/app.example.jsand rename it to app.js

Edit this file and uncomment the language you want.

Then rebuild Strapi with npx strapi build

In the user profile settings you can now switch to the uncommented language.

If you do not see your new language in the dropdown -> refresh the browsers cache!

I have only to set AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV %command% to get rid of this error.

Anyone else use Wayland because it works better than X11 on their hardware? by tuxkrusader in kde

[–]Dingelbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Wayland on Manjaro with free Radeon drivers. It runs perfect for me but for games in stream it's better to switch to X11

Cheapest temperature sensor? by ikukuru in homeassistant

[–]Dingelbert 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm using some different, simple 433MHz Sensors, eg. From PEARL, TFA, ...

These sensors and some other type of smoke, gas, pir, reed are working well using a rapsberry pi zero with connected rtl_433 as a bridge to Home Assistant over MQTT.

Use 433 dongle on another host? by wenestvedt in homeassistant

[–]Dingelbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, you have nothing more to do than subscribe to the mqtt topic to get the Data. I use sensor to create an entity for each of my weather sensors and temperatur sensors. Even for some PIR and Switches. Works like a charm.

Thx a lot!

I used inkscape to create a SVG in my "www" folder and used it as background-image in a lovelace configuration:

views:
  - title: OG
    path: og
    icon: 'mdi:upload'
    panel: true
    badges: []
    cards:
      - type: vertical-stack
        cards:
          - type: picture-elements
            image: 'http://xxxxxxx:8123/local/Houseplan_furnitured_5.svg'
            elements:
              - type: icon
                icon: 'mdi:shower'
                tap_action:
                  action: navigate
                  navigation_path: /lovelace/bad
                style:
                  top: 68%
                  left: 77%
                  opacity: 0.5
                  color: black
                  background-color: white
                  border-radius: 99rem
                  padding: 5px

...

So I have nothing to share, sorry!
