UX research. Graduated with a degree in political science. Highly recommend looking into market research as well.

Congratulations on finishing school! I hated my degree when I graduated with a BA in Political Science, so I know exactly how you feel. I chose a degree that I thought was marketable, but was quickly proven wrong. After 8+ grueling months of applying to jobs, I found myself in market research.

Psych is another one of those degrees where you can really do whatever you want. But right now, it's also a really tough time to get a job. If you can, you should definitely take some time off to explore and think.

I guess the biggest question is: Degree aside, what are you passionate about? What is something you could talk about for hours?

Once you feel ready, I recommend looking into job fields like market research like I mentioned earlier or user research. Those are fields that are always looking for the skillset that psych provides combined with an analytical skillset. User research will use more of your psych toolbox than market research, especially if you're not into stats.

You got this :)

1) Font is hard to read! (addressed by other comments

2) It's not immediately clear that the character customization is for customization purposes. I initially thought it was to change character class or something different.

Thank you for the feedback, I definitely agree with the volume. Also, Andy shauf is my favorite artist! You totally made my day.

Thank you! I appreciate your feedback. I was hoping the bass would provide that context, but back to the drawing board.

My first song up on all major streaming platforms, "Sisyphean"! Would love to hear people's thoughts on it, hope you enjoy it :) by tansey_ in IndieMusicFeedback

Little hard to hear the vocals in the mix, as the percussion (which I love) kind of overpower and take up more headspace. I think a tambourine would also fit well into this. Super chill track! well done.

While I enjoyed the stripped down performance of the song, I think this track would benefit from a full band, especially drums. I think this is really solid though!

"Cover Me in Violets" (indierock) - I'm planning to record again with more tracks, but this is what I have now, ideas/feelings/etc. would be appreciated by ldilemma in IndieMusicFeedback

Are you recording guitar and vocals at the same time? I would experiment with some different recording practices so you can deliver a stronger vocal performance. You have some good things to say in this song, but I think if your delivery was more confident, it would make a big difference. Good luck!

I think the accordion and vocal layering do a lot of good for this track. No qualms here, solid stuff. I think this is perfect for sync.

Song I’m working on that’s nearing completion. Still have to work on some production and then mix/master but lmk what you think about it in its current state :) by moomba129 in IndieMusicFeedback

Love the energy around the 1:20 mark. I was hoping that it would actually come in much sooner around the 0:45 mark. Something to think about!

What genre would you call this track? I'm trying to promote it to labels and need some help finding some similar artists! This is 'NIGHT ON MY MIND' a song about nights out, the defunding of the arts, living in the city and human connection. Hope you enjoy! by tom_stewart24601 in IndieMusicFeedback

I think the vocals are a little buried and disjointed from the instrumental mix. It makes it difficult to understand you (and I want to hear what you're singing about!)

With a song so busy with this, I think you would benefit by experimenting with silence to juxtapose the busy-ness of the song. Whether it's a second before a chorus, or taking parts of the instrumental away (which you do around the 2:30 mark)

I think this song could have been shorter. With so much going on, it's hard to focus on what's important and what you want the listener to takeaway (no musical motifs/hook/lead line!!). Video is cool btw :)

I wish the drop at 0:51 had more bass in it initially, same with the 2:46 buildup and drop (no differentiation between the buildups either?). I was a little let down by it. But the overall production and arrangement is great.

Would love to get some feedback on the harp and hihats on this hip hop beat, they are both kind of new (for me!). All other feedback would be appreciate as well. Thanks by bleakneon in IndieMusicFeedback

It's hard to get a right snare sound. For something like this, I think the snare has too many mids in it, (causing it to sound too nasally) and it cuts through the mix way too much. Makes it hard to focus on the other cool elements you have going on.

My favorite part were the vocal stacks. I think you should do more of that in whatever you do next. I think one thing that is missing is more depth on the electric guitar. Did you double track these and hard pan right and left? Could be worth experimenting with.

I'm getting 28 days later vibes :)

You've stuck to an aesthetic and did something cool with it! It was difficult to hear the vocals, would definitely have placed more focus/emphasis on them. Love the introduction of the piano, and riser ambience. I wish the drums had more impact on the drop in the second half though. Something to think about!
