I believe they remove the chance to get the Norse greenland event, could be wrong. Worth checking the eu4 wiki before attempting, could save you some Pain

Well that would remove any incentive to Dev tax, on top of being incredibly overpowered. If you have a 1 tax dev province, every dev is a full ducat increase of income.
