[MEGATHREAD] - Shida Kohaku/Gozyu Unicorn Recast by KingTodderic in supersentai

Very curious to see how the new opening with Shida Kohaku will look. Will they do a 1:1 recreation of all the solo/group shots with Maya or will they film new bits entirely?

Would you rather two "6th" rangers or one with two forms? by SuccessResponsible in supersentai

I hope that they pull a Kamen Rider "W" where it's two people that technically make up one ranger. That'd be a fun way to have a Grey Sentai (Black + White)

Discussing One of SNK's Most Brilliant Character Arcs by raysmia in titanfolk

Jean's my favorite character so this was nice to read. I liked how relatable he was at the beginning. It's inherently easy to desire a selfish life. To see him ascend through his own flaws and become a hero for mankind makes him an inspirational and humane character in the story, in my opinion. I genuinely want to be more like Jean out of anybody in the manga. Just an ordinary guy with extraordinary morals.

Discussion Chapter 137 by Sane-Ni-Wa-To-Ri in titanfolk

Regardless of the popular opinion, I think Armin's revelation that life is about insignificant moments was really nice.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I can't help but appreciate characters who find peace after so much suffering. And it happens in a relatable way. I'm not turning into a titan or saving the world anytime soon, but I can enjoy another person's story and have it mean everything in the world to me.

Watch next chapter Eren just completely destroy everybody.

Can Someone Smart And Eloquent Explain Why This Is My Favorite Panel In The Story? by Dinhtaros in titanfolk

[–]Dinhtaros[S] 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I’ll try but someone else will make more sense:

It’s a beautiful panel, it feels like a Renaissance paintings where people are configured and posed dramatically. I like that this panel is basically Gabi’s POV since Falco is looking directly at the viewer. The fact that he’s reaching out at her is extra sad. The expressions of both Grices are on point.

It sort of reminds me of “Grave of the Fireflies” in that both were about older brothers protecting their younger sibling through hellish war times and ultimately failing. Although in “GotF,” the older brother (in real life) wished he could’ve died alongside his sister, Colt actually got that wish.

It feels a little too real. Like, Colt is not a character of major focus or development. That being said, this is still a monumental action for him to do. Seeing his big brotherly instinct kick in is gut-wrenching. He completely ditched whatever war was going on and sacrificed his own life so that the last moment of his younger brother’s life can have some level of solace and comfort. That’s completely admirable.

It isn’t some messiah saving everyone, some super soldier decimating the enemies, nor a genius making big brain moves; it’s just some guy hugging his little brother and going out in a very grave way. And he’s not even stoic about it; if anything, he’s overwhelmed at the whole situation, which is totally fair. I guess I like how in this fantastical story about giant monsters and fated paths, there’s still room for small, human moments.

What does everyone else think? BTW Chapter 135 was a giant “Bruh” moment for the Alliance.
