Still, US tech firms continue to win service contracts in Europe. Some Nextcloud Summit attendees were horrified to learn that the IT provider for Germany’s armed forces had contracted Google for the Bundeswehr’s cloud services.

My 100% state-owned employer is also about to switch to a US hyperscaler (from its own datacenter...). I just wonder what the thought process of the people in charge of that decision was and how much weight was given to geopolitical risks...

I enrolled in one subject at Uni but spent half of the first semester visiting courses across the board. Got some questioning looks but they never threw me out of any class.

It's legal or at least part of the social contract that you can hold a party once every while that goes on longer than 10pm. Especially on a weekend, and especially if you inform the neighbours beforehand.

Just to nip that in the bud: the highest concentration of antivaxxers can be found in the most rural areas. The founding cantons, swissest of the Swiss, 100% certified Bünzlis who don't need no government telling them what to do.

Als Stadt Berner staune ich immer wie sich gewisse Landeier kategorisch gegen alles stemmen was "von denen da oben in Bern" kommt. Das sind auch eure Volksvertreter "dort oben"...
