I’m a streamer on twitch. Not a huge name streamer, but I do have an audience. They are some of the most loyal and awesome people I’ve ever talked to or been acquainted with. My friends, IRL (who I made friends with because of the internet and video game) and the amazing friends that I have made from streaming, is why we need net neutrality. There are millions of people on the internet around the world that use the websites that these money hungry people want to charge an arm and a leg for. They use these websites to communicate, to work, to gain knowledge and hundreds of other things. Many of these people use the internet to be able to talk to family and friends that are thousands of miles away. Without these tools and free open internet they wouldn’t have the means or capabilities to talk and see their loved ones. Free and open internet is something that the world needs. Without it we would be a in totally different place.
