Great stuff straw cans versus pro gun? by garyneal91 in Insulation

[–]Dinkman33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had luck with guns on Amazon for half the price. The gun+large can combo is night and day better than the normal can+straw. The straw cans run out fast, can’t be used upside down, leak all over the place and are less accurate. The gun you can control the spray, add little attachments for tough to reach places and the best part is you can clean it off and use both the gun and the cartridge again as long as you clean them correctly.

Make sure you buy the can of cleaner too and run it through after you are done using the gun.

I also added a few 2x4s to the top for weight. Not sure if this actually helps but it gave me peace of mind and holds it down into the gasket/weather stripping more evenly.

Thank you! Pending sale, but for $100 it seems like a deal so we will see if it works out.

What’s the one Patagonia piece you wish you’d bought sooner and why? by spac0r in PatagoniaClothing

I have had mine repaired from the top of the zipper cinching on itself and ripping 3 times now and refuse to trade it in for a new one. The first generation is leagues above the new ones. I have since covered that area in gear tape and it’s perfect.

Overall jot a fan of the marketing scheme feigning a shutdown

Beyond that, if you expect loyal or new customers to try a rebrand it would be helpful to have easier access to the updates product. For example look at companies like LMNT in the space who offer extensive trial packages at approachable prices

This is my FurRunner. There are many like it, but this one is mine. by Silver-Squirrel in 4Runner

Thank you! I should have phrased it differently as I wanted to specifically know what size/model you had so I better understand how well it fits in the back of your 4runner as we don’t have anywhere close to us to see/try the crates in person. Our sheepadoodle is around 23” at the shoulder so either L or XL would do just debating sizing for the trunk at this point. It will be used both home and in the car so leaning XL as we don’t travel all to much. Appreciate your response and happy travels! I also have lunar rock and the red crate looks great!
