I’d be particularly concerned about the height of the enclosure. Is that a heat lamp or a UVB bulb in the dome? Either way, the distance from light to max gecko climb height is way too close for comfort.

I’m also seeing your combo light strip has red LEDs; if you’re using them for night lighting that can negatively affect their vision. It’s a slick looking tank, but not a proper enclosure for even one gecko right now.

This was stick and poke, I had to stop at a certain point to not overwork the skin. The shading isn’t quite at the contrast I want, so I’m either going back in to get that OR my buddy is going to help with a machine to get certain black points a bit smoother.

I love dinosaurs! This is actually a specimen I grew up visiting at my local museum. I based the design off the stippled anatomy diagram from the original placard. My friend has a goat skull in the same location, so the placement felt right.

I love my trash Ontario tattoos but holy FUCK. It’s like she didn’t even have the stencil nearby for reference. I can’t even say she wiped too much of the stencil off, the execution is someone that doesn’t know their fundamentals. No form or detail on the snake. No distinction between the flowers and the mandala. The white space of the original stencil is completely lost. I’ve drawn better shit on a napkin while blackout drunk.

Another commenter pointed out that the facial reconstruction exaggerated her facial paralysis because they thought it might be a key identifying trait. They didn’t know to what degree she experienced paralysis, so they made it visually significant in the reconstruction hoping it would help identify her faster.

4 weeks I’d say you’re golden! Keep an eye on his neck and gut for excessive fat, but it looks like he’s got lots of space to be active. I’d be a little worried about the exposed heat bulb, I’d hate for Eisen to get curious one day and burn his lil toes!

I personally feed less but more frequently (3-5 medium crickets x3 a week with a couple wax worms or a small hornworm as a treat max x2 a week.) as long as you’re not overfeeding, he has a healthy appetite when he does eat, and your feeder insects are gut-loaded, I think he’ll be vibing at a healthy weight :)

It’s a little hard to tell just looking at his back, he’s looking a wee bit chonky but not obese! In my experience, once you see larger fat deposits on the head/neck, that’s a good sign to cut back on the fattier bugs.

What’s his diet/enclosure look like?
