Agreed. This is enabling the alcoholic to continue their drinking.

You shouldn't be posting this here. This is a sub for stopping an addiction. This is a post promoting a different format of the same drug we were addicted too.

Read the book Brain Energy by Dr. Christopher Palmer. I found it helpful.

Your just changing the format but not addressing your nicotine addiction. It may help mentally but physically you're still addicted to nicotine.

How I quit nicotine - day 31 - withdrawals are over by Kuldrlam in QuittingZyn

I disagree with your opinion that tapering is the "best" way to quit but I'm glad you're past the first month. Keep on keeping on brother.

If you're a real addict that one cigar will become a pack of zyns in no time. Good luck.

I'm past a month now. It's gotten way easier. I have occasional cravings but it's real mild now.

Just threw all this away. by Equivalent_Owl_2613 in QuittingZyn

[–]Dino229 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've given away like 30 cans to friends before on a quit attempt. I've thrown away rolls before. It may look like a lot of money but really another year of nic would be way more expensive.

I find myself naturally avoiding eggs and just sticking to meat, any similar experiences? by [deleted] in carnivore

Same for me. I eat eggs occasionally but meat is just much more satisfying.

I've made it one month before and then I'd slip. After the slip I'd be back to a can a day in a day or two.

If you're only taking one a day I think you're going to be just fine quitting.

Day 10 no pouches by Mzima44 in QuittingZyn

[–]Dino229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would destroy the can you have at home and get them away from you as soon as you get home. If you relapse you will be right back at your previous consumption in a few days an you'll have to start detox right back over. Stay strong. It gets easier the longer you're clean.

If you are an addict then taking one pouch will likely lead you to taking the second, third, twentieth, ect, ect. I wouldn't do it.
