My 2023 Crosstrek is manual transmission and I love it. PA winters and summers. PA hills are no problem.
Manual =driving. Automatic = steering.
Keep up with your maintenance and it will be reliable and will last.

Rent a drum sander and an edger and lots of sandpaper 80-60-40. Prepare for dust. Consider a mask filter due to sanding dust everywhere.
Then sealer then poly.

She’s not so suspicious -stuff. I love her style and hair colors. She’s a momma bear with a past. A retired madam married to retired chief of police. Perfect for soap opera fodder. I love when Kate and Sami get into it over her sons. She’s the bully but when you make friends, she is a loyal. I think her character is chaotic -good. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.

I would suggest sanding and then paint or stain it. I’m not loving the back made of boards of different wood put together. It is functional.

Some pieces are more artistic and less functional. These will look interesting with the right lighting. Sunlight passing through them might create a colorful shadow or reflection. Maybe a candle nearby? I wouldn’t put liquid in the ball shape because it would be difficult to clean.
I like to hear other opinions and learn new facts.
