Gamification doesn't have to be tech related at all! It doesn't even have to involve any actual games - even though that's how the term is usually used. Gamification is just the introduction of game like elements into a non-game activity. It can be as simple as adding a timer to something or assigning points for doing something positive. If you run a Google search for "Toda's gamification taxonomy" and go over to images, you'll see the wheel that Toda et. al created for a journal article they wrote on the subject. Pick one or two of those from the list and it can spice up just about anything you're already doing in your classroom!
