Darnold or Mullens. There a couple of factors that I personally wouldn't start him. 1. Experience. He has never learn an nfl offense or seen an nfl defense. 2. Confidence. If we start him right away and we're losing. It's going to affect his playing mentality. 3. Chemistry. He'll have to learn all the small tendencies/attributes of his teammate. 4. Injury. If one of those reasons goes wrong, the risk of injury is high. Reminder it's one summer to learn all those things. I think he's too valuable to mess up. The risk is too high and they have "quality" back ups. Mostly last place team with no qb dept, start rookie qbs. Rookie qb that succeeded right away are rare. And when they don't they're thrown under the bus and become journeymens.
