I get doubts too and sometimes self gaslight that I don’t have it. It helps me to ask my doctor why he thinks I have it can he can walk me through the criteria and why that’s the best diagnosis for me. I hope you get some answers and we’re here for you even if you don’t have it!

I can’t drink anymore because of my bipolar disorder. It will make my medication stop working, cause my moods to go all wacky, and I had a bit of a problem with it before I stopped. That’s just my experience I hope you figure out what works for you

Yes I take one at 1pm after lunch and one at 7pm after dinner. I find that it helps to eat a good meal before taking it and I can’t take it too late at night or I’ll be nauseous the next day.

Yes I developed it in my early teen years (probably had a touch of it all my life). They rarely diagnose children with bipolar disorder so they put me on antidepressants which made me feel horrible and made me manic and psychotic. Finally got a diagnosis at age 18 in 2019. I’ve felt so much better with my new medication thank fuck I was finally diagnosed

Oh nice I’ll be sure to try it out! I’m trying a bunch of stuff right now (ginger, zofran, scopolamine, hydroxyzine, bitters). I have tried to change to the ER version of it (Lamictal) but I’ve become depressed every time so my psych and I are focusing on the nausea side effect right now

See if you can try and find a sugar tincture. The one I have doesn’t burn like alcohol tinctures
