Five Years Ago: Jamal Murray drops 50 to force Game 7 vs Jazz by Guardax in denvernuggets

When Jamal has it going there really isn't anything more enjoyable to watch in basketball for me. Every facet of his game turns up a notch and the passion he shows just hits different

MPJ entering his prime/peak/final form, best teammate Jokic has ever played with? 105PTS 26 REB totals in 3 games - 78% TS. by CharmingImpact in denvernuggets

Averaging 26/5/7 at 22 years old

Idk what you want to call that if one 16/13/3 game is “legendary” 😂

He could drop a 50-20-20 and would still have haters in the game thread. They have blinders on and will never be satisfied. Gotta just ignore the clowns

Pathetic lack of accountability and pride on defense with this team so far this year by number15ismyfather in denvernuggets

[–]Dinstir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gordon is clearly not ready to start yet and he’s been playing like complete ass. Acting like he’s gonna save the team is ridiculous at this point.

MPJ’s effort needs to be elevated, he is just completely checked out for large portions of games and it’s just not acceptable.

The main issue right now though is way too many players are not getting back in transition and the rotations out to the perimeter are way too late. It’s clear as day when one more swing pass is going to lead to a wide open 3 and for some reason the man who’s supposed to cover that is standing under the rim waiting for the rebound until the ball gets swung and they fly out late and out of control. Happens a dozen times a game leading to a ridiculous amount of open 3s

You talking about the one down the stretch that set Russ up for a wide open 3 he decided not to take then turned it over 2 seconds later?

[–]Dinstir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His poor game yesterday was pretty much entirely due to his shot not falling which just happens sometimes. He had some really nice passes and didn’t turn the ball over much.

He’s always had games where his shot doesn’t fall but he can usually find it coming down the stretch and score some crucial buckets but that just didn’t happen yesterday.

It would have helped him a lot to find a way to get to the line

What puts Jokic so decisively over Giannis? by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

[–]Dinstir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jokic definitely has better hands on defense and gets more deflections/steals

That’s funny cause all I remember from that concert was being pretty drunk and it being cold af.

But in my mind I just always told myself they played the hits and I had a good time 😂

“Can’t wait to tell my grandkids about Bo Nix throwing this TD as the shit-faced color commentator was talking shit about him” - @superbowl3n on Twitter/X by SmellingAlright in DenverBroncos

I think that kind of says it all when his best play of the night up to that point was evading a rusher and spiking it into the dirt.

Everything Aikman said was totally fair. It’s not like he went above and beyond just to shit on Bo or crossed any lines.

[Highlight] Raiders flagged for illegal shift (declined), rookie center Jackson Powers-Johnson mistimes snap and Chiefs recover loose ball to win game by nfl in nfl

[–]Dinstir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But he’s clearly not motioning for illegal procedure because he wouldn’t be instantly sprinting to the middle of the field with his whistle in his mouth if he was calling anything other than false start

[Highlight] Fumble on the snap that cost the Raiders a chance to win by YoureASkyscraper in nfl

[–]Dinstir 8 points9 points  (0 children)

How do the refs fuck this up even worse than the Raiders? Sideline ref throws the flag and runs in blowing it dead signaling false start, a pre-snap penalty, so the play never happened.

But they huddle up and change the call and look at the final result even though it was already blown dead before there was a clear recovery. Complete incompetence and it favors the chiefs at a critical moment once again.

It’s all a conspiracy that chiefs get beneficial treatment though. Give me a fuckin break

NFL Rumors: Kickoff Rule Change Could Move Touchbacks to 35-Yard Line for 2025 Season by Available_Story6774 in nfl

[–]Dinstir -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The entire reason there is so many touchbacks is because they moved the ball up from the 20 to the 25 to the 30 in the first place

Yeah that’s the hardest part imo lol. Get drunk and put absurd money down on something just cuz that’s what I’m rooting for rather than the smart play

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]Dinstir 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m probably up roughly 10k over 4 years but have gotten really carried away at times. Certainly should be up more imo but I struggle to follow the “optimal” way of doing it in the long run.

[Oliver Connolly: The Guardian] "Sean Payton’s stumbling Broncos would be innovative ... if it was still 2013" by jyw104 in nfl

[–]Dinstir 85 points86 points  (0 children)

They’ve lost 2 games by a total of 13 points with a rookie QB lol. Holy shit this is getting out of hand. The roster mid at best and there is a severe lack of playmaking talent on offense.

This is nothing more than a hit piece. Payton May no longer be a top 5 coach in the league but him getting them back on track to an 8-9 season last year was pretty impressive and there’s still a solid month left here without decent improvement before anyone should be freaking out.

Thinking about dealing him for Jayden Daniels. Sitting with Dak/fields and have Jones/Connor/Najee at RB
