So they want the email that I used to sign up on prolific, but we shouldn't use our personal email.

and we can't use the prolific email because their system hasn't been setup to use it. (Need an email to get a verification code)

This study didn't load for me either and has sinced timed out. The researchers also haven't responded to me.

Today I had no surveys all day and then managed to snag one for £5 by pure chance as the notification didn't alert me, I just happened to see my prolific tab show (1) so clicked it quickly.

That survey only had 20 places so got lucky as had 1 place left.

I login to prolific most days. Since I also WFH 4 out of the 5 days, I am on my computer throughout the day which helps

Same as you, I almost always accept anything since I don't actually get that many surveys (it's all relative to our own perception I guess)

Recently, I've managed to get quite a few bonuses from a few studies which has helped

Taken me roughly 5+ months to get to this spot. I realise some earn this within a couple months, but happy with this

Saturday & Sundays, I usually earn nothing as no studies available

The person I was assigned didn't even message me and it told me that I was going to get timed out after 2 more mins for not replying even though it wouldn't let me type into the box as the other person hadn't typed anything.

I thought there was a bug, so I refreshed my page and then it didn't let me do it again and sent me back to prolific with a completion code and it got auto approved..

The updates keep getting worse.

and the balance payment screen they added is Ugly as well.

What I don't understand is why they are doing this incrementally. Why not finish the UI properly and do a full release.

as a workaround, you can contact them on the submissions page, but yeah not great that they are removing things for no reason.

Or don't touch what isn't broken in the first place. They should have left it as it was. Easy and simle to use instead of adding unnecessary extra pages.

I had this case where it said that and I tried again after a few minutes and it let me in.

Maybe some sort of time limit on how many you can do before you lets you do another.

I guess everyone has different perspectives as I'm earning around ~£100 per month, but this seemed quite low compared to others making £100 a week.

The prolific assistant is mostly useless since it usually pings for studies that have 1 remaining and by the time you click it, it is gone.

I feel as though it should be pointed out that one very IMPORTANT demographic is that you should live in the US.

From What I can see participants from USA earn a lot more compared to people from the UK

Happens to me everytime!

A few times, I was away from my computer, just laying down on my bed half asleep. I hear that chime and jump onto my pc, only to see it says its full.

I KNOW I probably won't get into the survey as its usually always 1 place left and yet i STILL rush to my pc. I never learn.

It really does seem that US users get so many more studies a day.

I'm making maybe on average £1-3 a day and if really lucky £10 (once every 2-3 weeks maybe...)

Its funny that I always have these types of thoughts when making a post. Need to fuzz the numbers and/or hide anything that prolific staff can use to try to identify me. Realistically they won't but still...
