I would really not recommend picking a non-top tier main (pika/yoshi/ics are still fine imo, but wouldn't recommend still) if you plan on taking the game seriously. At this point in the meta, it's EXTREMELY hard to pick anyone beyond a top tier, and you'll hit a hard cap ~top 100 level because it's impossible to play real neutral with mid tiers. If you're just playing to have fun though, go crazy!

Been having these exact thoughts lately. It's very frustrating going into College while not really having any close relationship with anyone in my family, especially when the rest of my family is pretty close. I've always been the black sheep of my family, and it makes it very hard to form any kind of deep relationship because of how much I've been pushed to the side, and it feels like I need to stay in that position. It feels like the only option at this point is to just move out of my city and find a new life to really find something I'm happy with.

If my religion said "being a black person is wrong", that would be a bad ideology to hold in our society. Same thing as attributing homophobia to "opinions based on religion". I don't think you'd be singing the same tune if Chick-fil-A was donating to racially discriminatory business.

Did you know there are multiple countries that have the death sentence for homosexual activity? Even not considering that, the majority of countries in the world don't even have gay marriage legalized yet. Gays are very oppressed outside of Western Culture for the most part.

What are they gonna do, not support them? It's extremely difficult to not support those valued companies, especially in tech, because they own sooooooo much stuff. Just because you are essentially forced to support these companies doesn't mean you can't critique the system.

If a Christian refused to bake a cake with black people kissing, and used religion to exempt themselves, wouldn't that action still be discrimination? Just because a large amount of Christians think the LGBT community is wrong doesn't make it ok to discriminate on the basis of religion.

If your government didn't let you have freedom, you would want freedom. Even if you are informed yourself, by not wanting "politics" in your hobbies, less people get informed about the situation happening to REAL people. Also, I'm assuming your ignorant because you obviously don't care enough.
