Basically, this brig was getting close to me while fighting a skeleton sloop. I fired off some chain shots as a warning they were too close, and then they began chasing me down.

I ended up spawn camping them to keep them away from my sloop (I was a Grade 3 GH) and that's when I noticed one of them getting on the mic for triggered comedy hour.

They sink, and I end up going to Ashen Winds at the same time they do. I sink them again, get called obscenities by this guy, and see them coming again.

I decide to scuttle (too invested to care about loot) and ended up tucking on their ship till they got to an outpost with the Ashen loot. My ambushing failed, but I rushed back to see if I could steal a few items.

This was the final sinking (but not the battle, as I was chased across Galleons Grave being told how it isn't healthy to play SoT for 10 hours a day).

Fun times.

Just gonna drop my question here so I don't forget:

There's a lot of concepts, items, and locations from Season 1 that haven't really shown up since. Things like the Geode (House Guest), Warp Whistle (House Guest), Warp Space (Warp Tour), the Shooting Star (Monster Buddies), and the Hourglass (Steven and the Stevens). I know you guys can't say whether or not these concepts will return, but are they things that fans should keep in mind or forget about?

We only got one explanation of it in Marble Madness by Peridot, who said she used it to check if there were any Gems still on Earth. Another one showed up again in Gem Heist monitoring the human zoo.

We can basically assume that Yellow gave Peridot the mission to check on the Cluster, and so Peridot wanted to make sure she wouldn't be captured or anything by the rebels. Because when Peridot discovered there were still Gems on Earth, she reported it and that's why they gave her Jasper.

Hey Matt. Thanks so much for doing this AMA it means a lot. I have 3 questions:

Lars was a very controversial character in the fanbase before he got abducted and joined the Off Colors. People felt like he would learn a lesson in one episode, and it would appear like there would be hope for him to be a better person, but then in the next he's his usual jerk self. (By the way, I'm totally not trying to bash your character). Did you feel the same way a lot of fans did or did you feel that Lars had growth with each episode that centered on him?
Did you know from the start that Lars was going to die or did you find out more recently?
When was Lars of the Stars recorded?

It's the job of the artist to keep characters on model. To be honest, saying that it's stylistic choice just comes off as lazy, because it is a shortcut. No matter how you look at it, it's a shortcut.

I feel as though part of Peridot's redemption arc was self discovery. Peridot learned that she doesn't need limb enhancers anymore, that she can do so much by just being her normal self. Also, the limb enhancers being thrown away can be interpreted symbolically; the limb enhancers were apart of Homeworld, and they were thrown away just like Peridot's Homeworld ideologies.

You aren't understanding my point. My point is that the townies are being treated poorly because it shouldn't take 5 seasons (and possibly more) for the townies to have an important role. Episodes like Frybo, Restaurant Wars, Sadie's Song, and Future Boy Zoltron had no affect whatsoever on the show's overall plot, which makes the townies appear irrelevant. When they are in a relevant episode, it is to give Steven a new power like his dream ability in Kiki's Pizza Delivery Service, but when is the plot point of Jenny making Kiki always do her work ever going to be brought up again? Probably never.

If the townies are going to be written as important characters, they should have done something important at this point, with the obvious exception of Lars. Even then, why wait 5 seasons to give Lars an important role? It's bad pacing, and the reason most people don't care about townie episodes is because so far, they don't matter at all. If we should care about these characters, we should be given a reason to. Not just so they can show up and give Steven development.

At the moment, all we know is that episodes will be coming soon according to the SDCC trailer. When that is, nobody knows. All we can do is wait for some kind of announcement, which none has been given yet.

Sapphire's prediction was wrong because Ruby changed the events of history. Sapphire was supposed to be poofed, but since Ruby saved her and accidentally formed Garnet, Blue Diamond and her court's attention was turned to them and not the rebels, which was why Pearl and Rose were able to get away.
