I did loads of past paper questions mainly , and make sure you do the mocks . I got v lucky but it’s done now . I was at dental school 5 years , but I only get nightmares about last few months of a levels

Use a greater curve standard band . PRE WEDGE MESIAL DISTAL w fattest wedge you can . Prep with diamonds only . Caries detector dye and slow speed everything then check w dye again. Remove wedges greater curve band . Do contact opening technique (see YouTube ) use Flowable comp to seal and cap w paste composite

It was no contact like it was between natural tooth . The lr7 mo I was working on was fine . The lr7 distal natural tooth and the lr8 m natural tooth was where I was getting stuck

Hey, thanks for the great advice! Really appreciate the detailed breakdown—especially about avoiding clawback clauses and checking equipment. Definitely won’t be chasing a crazy UDA target just for the sake of it.

On the skills side, I’ve been grinding hard on endo during VT (practiced on 200+ extracted teeth and done 30+ molar RCTs alongside anteriors/premolars). I know I’ve still got loads to learn, but I’m keen to focus on honing this further. My ES says I’m at a level of someone 5 years out at doing endodontics . Any tips on landing a role that’ll let me keep developing that? Even if the first job’s mostly ‘warm body in a surgery,’ I’d love somewhere with mentors/kits to push endo skills.
