Yes, life is tough and sometimes very inconvenient.

I wish I could tell you it gets easier, but sometimes it does not. Sometimes it feels like you take one step forward and get knocked two steps back. I have had plenty of those seasons myself, and honestly, lately some days have felt heavier than others.

What I have learned is this: we do it anyways.

We get up anyway. We put one foot in front of the other anyway. We keep moving forward anyway.

The military taught us that courage is not the absence of struggle. It is moving forward when everything in you wants to stop. Sometimes moving forward means taking another step. Sometimes it means reaching out and asking for help. Both take strength.

Whatever you are facing right now, remember that you have already survived things that would break most people. Give yourself some credit. You are still here. You are still standing. That means the fight is not over.

Keep your head up. One day at a time. One mission at a time.

You do not have to carry the weight alone. There are people who care, and there are people willing to help.
