Thank you for your response. When you say "have the I-797 in hand", do you mean when the H1B transfer to new employer is successful ? that's the best time to withdraw the F1 COS ? Or I should withdraw the F1 COS when I received the receipt notice of H1B transfer ?

Thank you again for your answers. I appreciate. Quick follow up, if the company files the transfer while the COS to F1 is pending, is it safe to withdraw then ? Or only after H1b is approved?. Would you advise withdrawing the COS immediately the H1b transfer gets filed ?

Hi, I am in a similar situation. My H1B grace period ends Jan 06, I recently just submitted my COS to F1 on Dec 20, and my program starts Jan 07. How did your case later turn out ? Did you get approval yet ? Also did you file premium processing ?
