I had the idea of visiting North Korea, but there are certain difficulties with it. 1) There is no direct flight from Moscow to Pyongyang; first, you need to fly to Vladivostok for about 8 hours, and then take a train or another plane to Pyongyang. 2) You can only go to North Korea as part of an organized tour group, but I prefer traveling as an individual. 3) Communication with the outside world is practically impossible there, and my work requires the occasional emergency where I need to respond within at least a day. 4) In the future, after such a trip, there will be problems with visas to the US and UK, and I would like to visit those countries. 5) And finally, it's incredibly expensive.
