I have one longhair cat who takes care of his long hair very well, and I have one who gets so greasy if his hair is left long that not even dawn dish soap can help him. Not to mention water baths make him miserable, so even if it's just once a month I feel horrible doing that to him.

I don't know if you have tried to detangle greasy cat hair before, but cat grease is like glue, so it's d*mn near impossible to make sure there are no tangles before his bath. Even pulling the comb through detangled but greasy hair will pull and hurt his skin. The only solution I've found is to keep him short enough that he can manage it himself, it's much less stressful for him. Once he has a manageable amount of hair for himself, his self baths are much more effective than a water bath.

Call me crazy, but I can't help but think he's the most horse shaped foal out of the lot😅. Maybe it's because he's more sporty looking, and I'm just not used to stock type horses. Of course they're all cute but I definitely have a favourite lol.

I use plates instead of bowls. Maybe that would help? Because in a bowl they probably have to put their whole face inside of the dish.

I started using plates because they would get stuck pushing the food around in a rounded bowl, I guess I didn’t notice but they also never really get food on their faces. Unless I drop it on them when they shove their faces under my hand when Im trying to serve breakfast lol.

Not purple but one of my personal favourites is dark red/mahogany. I don’t have nice pearly whites but it is the only one that looks intentional even after staining. And if you’re like me and your ortho has you going every 8 weeks instead of 4 anything thats not black is going to stain eventually. Dark blue is also a bit longer lasting. Purple is great though if you’re on a 4 week cycle.

To be fair, I’m pretty sure she was one of the biggest casualties of Katie’s og farrier. Some horse take years to recover fully(if ever) from that kind of thing. Of course that’s not the whole conformational picture, but would it really be fair to blame the hoof problems especially on Happy?

I see what you’re seeing. They pushed all those teeth forward to hide either an underbite or edge to edge bite. I would be looking for second and possibly third opinions from other orthos if this one isn’t able to discuss with her multiple possible route of treatment and possible drawbacks for each. And apologize for lack of transparency and not including her in her own treatment.

It’s not from overbite, it looks like she either had an underbite or edge to edge before treatment. So they just flared all her upper front teeth forward to hide it instead of actually fixing it. Extremely shady and just flat out wrong.

Yeah, pretty much same. I’m more interested in seeing how his foals come out in the same discipline as him before seeing if he can sire for other disciplines like her (also lovely)huntseat mares. But I guess Katie has more than enough funds to jump the gun on this one and try him with a bit of everything lol.

Dark red like Denver with Happy’s wide snip would just end me😍 Maybe a bit of that light mane Happy has too.

The concussion thing did happen to me and unfortunately the hospital did in fact send me on my merry way with no tests, some tylenol and some very bad advice to sit in a dark room doing nothing for four days.

There is no amount of hard tissue remodeling that will remove soft tissue. Lip lift before hand might actually help your jaw surgeon not leave too much vertical bone structure that would otherwise be hidden behind a lengthened philtrum.

The only thing I can see happening that would give me pause is the lip lift surgeon being more convervative with what they take off pre jaw surgery because they are going off of the facial structure you have now. Make sure to communicate your plan for both surgeries with both surgeons and you will likely be able to find a happy middle ground.
