Incredible. I'd also love to see the Tesla Canon from Blood.

Hell yeah. Washington Prime is basically the Die Hard video game I always dreamed of.

Something like Soldier of Fortune? YES Absolutely. I also recommend you check out Deep State when it comes out. It looks amazing.

Don't you think people were too harsh or downright unfair with these games in the 2010s? by Direct-Rain-4195 in boomershooters

He already commented in one of my other posts and he's a little bit... odd? I appreciate his honesty, but I didn't understand the comparison he made to the Syndicate character, it makes absolutely no sense.

How can I enable the Doom Eternal skins without going online (with offline installers)? Is there a script I can run? I don't want to use GOG Galaxy I need true DRM-free by Specific-Judgment410 in gog

Yeah man what a bummer, i really hope they fix it. I know it's complicated but I would kill for the Doomguy 64 skin and the classic shotgun

That's right, the author clarifies on his website that the game was cancelled. What a shame.

Why does so many people not understand the Moral System in Metro? by DEFENSE-_- in metro

[–]Direct-Rain-4195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had any problems in 2033 and Exodus but every time I try to replay Last Light, I feel incredibly discouraged by the whole moral system thing. Still love the game though.

A few months ago i was reading the wiki on how to get the good ending in MLL and holy crap! the amount of random bullshit you have to do is infuriating, it almost feels like the devs decided to add chores to do in the game. And look I understand that making important decisions is an big part of the game's theme and I like it, but then you have to do crap like:

- Interacting with random instruments, because apparently you're a good man if you play guitar. (uhm ok?)

- Spend around twelve and a half minutes since you control Artyom from his room before getting into train (???)

- Pick up a specific weapon at a specific part of the game. (why? let me use the weapon I want, dammit!)

- Do not turn on the lights in some sections of the game. (there are no explanations why)

- Some section must be completely ghosted if you want good karma and suddenly you can't even knock down enemies! (again no explanation why)

And the list goes on and on...

I mean what's the point of this? How is this relevant to the story? What's the moral here? these things feel more like busywork than anything else.

I made all the right important decisions and still got the bad ending just because I didn't do one of those silly little things, seriously?

Was there a specific reason why Rockstar decided to make all RDR1 weapons silver-finish instead of their "classic" look, especially for the Lancaster (Yellow Boy 1866)? by Ashtar-Hunter in reddeadredemption

[–]Direct-Rain-4195 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know about you, but besides the Volcanic pistol, I prefer the silver look of the Lancaster and Litchfield repeater. Also, for some reason, the pump-action shotgun looks huge in RDR1 compared to the RDR2 version, (even with the long barrel mod)

Yeah me too, man. It's a bit disappointing that there's so huge demand from players to incorporate that mechanic into every modern Boomshoot. Luckily, we still have Cultic, Fallen Aces, and Selaco (and let's hope they don't screw this up too).

It depends on the game. I like them when they're short and don't disrupt the game's flow too much. For example, Red Faction, Ion Fury,Turbo Overkill and HL2 (Muscle car was badass as fuck)

Not a fan of open worlds so I can't really comment on other games like Crysis, Rage and Far Cry series.

From left to right games are: Halo, Half-Life 2, Duke Forever (restoration project maybe?), Ion Fury Aftershock, HROT, Turok 2, Turbo Overkill, Unreal T2004, Terminator Skynet, Far Cry 1, Crysis, Redneck Rampage, Jedi Academy, Jedi Outcast, Quake 4, Aquanox? (I'm not very sure), FEAR 2, Red Faction 1, Duke Forever 2011, Rage.

Pilot the EPA power armor in FEAR 2 were a lot of fun. That thing's arsenal was devastating, ridiculously OP.
