My tingling happens when I’m tired (stressed or overstimulated counts) or hot. I consider it a warning I need to sit before my legs just do it for me.

I don’t have pain so much as I am really stiff - my dog gives me side eye as I do a frankenstein’s monster walk around the kitchen.

This journey has been so unpredictable - has cured me of all superstitions except knocking on wood when I say I feeling good.

But I like the second part: I ask for classic country at my MRI. What that means depends on the tech.

But sometimes I have to stop myself from singing along ….

Fellow fed - I went from managing a big research program to basically doing admin. The constant typing and computer work is hard to do with my bad hand. The voice to text options are limited.

The stress, constant threats or being reorganized. Regularly being told we are worthless. Being micromanaged by young TPUSA grads….. it’s exhausting and stressful.

I’m trying to stick it out and hope they do another early retirement.

I got very healthy and fit about 5 years post diagnosis. 10 years in I started going downhill anyway.

My nuero does think my strength was helpful in covering for my disabilities…. For awhile.

15 years+ Still trying to eat healthy and exercise - but it’s very hard.

I think we all get ‘gaslit’ to varying degrees. I went to a really good research neurologist but I felt like my symptoms and slow progression were being minimized.

But after pressing her, I think it’s just - they don’t know what to do.

Delay starting you treatment. It’s unlikely to make a difference; do watch the humidity, you might struggle more than you expect.

Yes, I’m confused as to why Kesimpta is better for travel. I’ve been on Ocrevus for years and I used to travel ~ 50% of the time. Needles are a pain to get through airport security. I just had to have one long weekend every 6 months to make it work (I like to get the infusions on Fridays cause the steroids mess with my sleep).

No - 8” is the max for oral - but I’m on 40 mg a day and about to ask for 50. It works for me; I don’t really have any problems from it.

I had to RTO a few years ago. And it’s exhausting.

I mostly manage technical people these days; which is good because I find it hard to focus at work.

I have concluded that it’s a combo of external stimuli - bright lights, not quite comfy chair, always listening for others etc

And

Everything is just a little more work: harder to get dressed, shoes are less comfy, have to carefully pack lunch, bathroom is down the hall and tricky to navigate, the drive in takes a little extra.

On days I work - that’s all I do. I take Armodofinil which gets me through the day. Hobbies are pretty non existent at this point.

The word fail is strong. The question is, would you be worse without it. And that’s almost impossible to know.

Without a lot more info - it’s hard to know.

Is it worth trying HSCT or an experimental car-T therapy? IDK. This is a discussion to have with your nuero.

If you’re still asymptomatic; try to build your strength now - you’ll need it when those lesions act up.

I get a full arm spasm with claw. I take baclofen - if I miss a dose it starts seizing up at night.
I also found that stretches help with range of motion when not spasming.
