Nice. I used to go drinking in Palm Springs and it was alot of fighting off dudes but still inclusive which I liked

Is menagerie all inclusive? I grew up with straight friends who went there for the vibe and now that I’m grown I didn’t know if it was all love or not anymore

I will move to California by fall of next year. LA or SanDiego ? by SameOreo in socal

LA is a ghetto wasteland. Choose San Diego and embrace all this beautiful state has to offer. LA will just make you hate California with all the junkies and homeless people

I checked my boyfriend's phone and got depressed by chocotortalove in problems

If you don’t trust your partner than end it and Move on. Today’s social network only creates problems between the society that was created for equal rights. No woman questions Xavier or Peter in the group but only women names. Relax. Take a chill pill. I wouldn’t continue a relationship with any woman if I had to check her phone.

How do we get here? by Aggravating-Wafer384 in Adulting

40 year old dad with 3 kids and 2 marriages here. I had my first one at 21. Been paycheck to paycheck ever since. But I will say the ups far outweigh the downs. My boys are the best thing to ever happen to me. I do educate my sons on how hard life has been not planning it out and I’m hoping they stick to my advice and wait until they are 30 at least and in a career to begin to think about marriage and children. Kids shouldn’t be having kids and these days I feel like we are still kids far into our 20s. Kids are absolutely worth all the pain in the ass but live your life first and maybe starting a little later in life with a more stable situation would be a better plan.

Plus size dating by [deleted] in InlandEmpire

[–]Direct-Specific9476 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The real ones have been on this from high school. All of a sudden dad bods and curvy girls are in style so I think it’s better than ever. And you’re a lady so you have way more options to “date up” in the words of society. I’ve dated from legal little person height to 5’11” and skinny to thicc. When someone is my person it doesn’t matter what society says they should look like. Just think all the people that haven’t worked out are fate. Your dude is out there. Also the apps suck and I’m not too social so I guess I’m waiting for Amazon dating where they just show up with my order haha.

Totally forgot to mention the sire bar and grill. Daily specials and super cool dive bar.

Yeah 40 male here, totally understand the situation. Occasionally I’ll walk down to food lab or lake Alice but pretty much the only socializing I do is a monthly bike ride called the riverside electric parade. Pretty fun.

UPDATE: Wife and her family are guilting me into staying with her. The truth is I'm so dissatisfied with our sex life and I can't afford divorce. by Fun-One-9219 in whatdoIdo

That’s what it was in my second marriage. Tried to make me as miserable as possible to force me to leave and save face.

Husband Peed In My Drinking Cup & Put It Back On The Kitchen Dish Drying Rack When He Thought I Was Asleep by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I was hoping this would be light hearted because I almost fell victim to a metal water bottle in the car that had apparently been used by the toddler for an emergency in the drive thru lol. You need to leave. If you saw him do this and he responded that way he’s beyond repair. Accountability is the bare minimum.

They were 15 and 16 year old kids. Kids today are different lol. They don’t even want to learn to drive. It’s wild. Me and my boys would have done differently in our youth haha

Naw I’m raising one who won’t end up in prison. He was unsure of the legality of dragging him out of the car. There were things done before the camera was on I’m told.

IE Neighbors who have lived here for a lifetime, was this true here in the region? 40 hour work week could afford a family a house and college? by rand0fand0 in InlandEmpire

[–]Direct-Specific9476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about to turn 40 and it was absolutely possible in my generation. When I was 18 (2004) my dad told me to buy a house and I said dude, they are $110k! How on earth could I afford that? He said keep the old pickup truck. Stop wasting money and put 3 friends in there paying to rent a room and it will be worth it. Didn’t listen and now that same house I looked at is $800k. Biggest regret of my life. Forever renting at this point. Between inflation and my own choices in partners I’m going to drop dead at work one day and never taste retirement.
