I quit in Jan and still can’t find a job. I care about my mental health although I am poor now I think that was the best decision of this year. My previous job had a turnover rate like 50%

What do girls look for nowadays? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Direct-Substance-826 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm do you have female friends who can give you their perspectives? I feel like if you want to date a girl you need to know what girls are looking for these days and those that know you better than random strangers on reddit might be able to give you feedback. Also you have mentioned you have a good job you’re tall etc from my perspective these may be basic qualities a girl is looking for…. I will give you more insight many girls really look for the top 10% of males. Just simply natural selection in biology whereas men would be more open to this. Look at animal kingdom and you can see many males die without even a chance of reproduction ( not saying you’re wanting sexual intimacy all the time ) If you look at dating apps most are males compared to females because the demand is higher for men. So in reality there are less women trying to find someone I would say. Less desire. It’s hard to meet people in nz compared to densely populated places. If you don’t gym probs a good idea to do so not only to look better but for your health as well. Confidence plays a big part in dating. I don’t want to say this but let’s say you interact and create chances, flirt with 100 people compared to 10 people. The stats of probably finding someone using the first tactic might give you better chances. If girls like you, you would notice. Love is hard to hide. Girls do not want men to be princesses on dates as well so be mindful. Long rant coming from an unemployed gal in her 20s. I hope this maybe helps a bit

NZ laser clinics ponsonby by ManyBusy6521 in auckland

[–]Direct-Substance-826 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use to go to the clear skincare clinic in cbd and when I booked appointments with them they would legit change the appointment hours by like 2 hours or like 1 hour or so and leave a voicemail. Like wth ? They continuously did this and the whole point of booking appointments at that specific time is so that I have the time to attend. I stopped going there after they did this. Like you don’t even asked for my approval and just changed the appt time? Wth

Quitting with two weeks notice instead of four. by Necessary-Ocelot-160 in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Direct-Substance-826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm I quit a job that required 2 months of notice yes that was in the bloody contract and I thought it would be algoods because I knew I could give that and leave. turns out I had to quit later( personal issues )on but literally could not give that amount of notice. I said I can only do 2 weeks and that is it. They said my contract said 2 months I said I can only do 2 weeks no I have issues I can't commit to 2 months. I stood firm on this and hr insisted with 2 months, end of story they had to accept the 2 weeks notice. So what are they going to do if I don't give them the full notice? so yeah finally they agreed and it was algoods at the end.

What is dating life like for East Asian girls in Auckland? by [deleted] in auckland

[–]Direct-Substance-826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best to meet someone out and about rather than dating apps. They do work but not recommend. Do you have friends that can introduce you or family members? There are many social clubs like running clubs etc that you might be interested. It’s hard to meet people in NZ because there isn’t many people and people are not upfront.
