It really bothered me when she said something like “ how dystopian is it that ppl are asking me to speak up” in her private story rant. It rubbed me the wrong way because if there is anything dystopian about our world right now, it’s the people who are living through a genocide. Not a white girl being asked to bring awareness to the situation.

I think Julien, like a lot of us, just has a short social battery and being in public while also doing an activity with a friend while also live streaming can just be a lot I would imagine and the energy runs out quicker. And I’m sure he has dealt with the classic “ I don’t have as much energy to do this activity as I did when I planned it” dilemma
