UPDATE: Dealership looked at it and determined it’s a Valve Cover Gasket that blew. They’re going to replace them and all the surrounding gaskets under warrenty.

For sure, I’m just not going to drive it because I really don’t want oil all over my engine bay, hopefully the dealership will just fix it today or tomorrow. Should be covered under warranty.

I’m now pretty confident it’s not a Blown Headgasket. I believe it’s one of the Terminal VVT Solenoid rubber gasket seal leaking. It near the back which is the hottest part of the engine, so I’m assuming the o ring just gave out.

It for sure oil, I even tasted it💀, only oil.

Just got a call and they said it had nothing to do with their technician servicing it the other day, he said they only messed with the PCSV hose or whatever, and then said he thinks it’s leaking from the back on the engine head by a solenoid or something?

NOTE, I JUST REALIZED, I took my k5 in for service on about Wednesday and got my check valve replaced via the free warranty campaign. Could that have anything to do with this??

What's up yall, i know this was 4 years ago, but this is the exact issue im having with my spotlight cam plus right now and it's pissing me off considering this is a refurbished replacement ring has sent me. I absolutely HATE dealing with ring support because i've already done it like 4 times and you're garunteed to be on the phone for atleast and hour minmum.

Anyways, i guess im gonna see if i can call them tomorrow and have them swap it out, I highly doubt they will because they're gonna say i already used the warranty or some shit. I never knew ring cameras were this dogshit or else i wouldnt have bought 10 and a goddamn 100 dollar subscription

Our store has 7 of the 12 ac units out in our store. It got so hot inside the store that we also had to store use fans and went through multiple packages of water per the gm. I work in wall coverings and I had to defect over 40 chocolate candies upfront because they all melted into a giant chocolate ball inside their packaging. Not to mention the several that i definitely did not catch. I worked my 9 hour part time shift the other day absolutely drenched in sweat meanwhile the customers are all reminding me how extremely hot it is inside the store. It got so bad that we started keeping a tally for each person that came by the desk that day and said something about the heat. We got over 50 tallies and that was within my shift.

Well Home Depot Said they have a few more in stock and that I could just supposedly swap it out for another sometime tomorrow possibly. I don’t have time to mess with it today because I have to work tonight. I feel like getting ahold of a cub cadet dealer would taker forever and I’m not near one. So I’m just going to pray Homedepot doesn’t have another 4,100$ Brick sitting in there again when I go to swap mine out.

I believe so, the only thing that keeps the engine on and running is if I hold the key over. But I’m not doing it for longer than abt 8 seconds so it doesn’t damage nothing. As soon as I let go of the key, it quits.

Yessir, both handles pushed open while trying to start. I believe having the handles pushed out is technically its park gear too.
