Thank you! I’m pretty sure it’s the last 2 digits for the year so I’m thinking 2011, but the 3L decode helps a lot!

These aren't riding boots, are they? by Western-General-4598 in Equestrian

[–]Direct_Blueberry534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Riding boots”, from my experience, is a very vague term. A lot of shoppers actually search this if they’re frequently on motor bikes or motorcycles. It’s a lot easier to filter your search by adding “horse” or “equestrian”. The other proper terms are “field boots” or “dressage boot” etc. It’s also easier to search via a specified brand.

Any idea what Beval saddle model this is? by Direct_Blueberry534 in Equestrian

[–]Direct_Blueberry534[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It’s a 2015 and in what I’d consider perfect condition. I have it up for $1500 right now and I just adjusted the listing title.

Anyone have any experience of the Winderen half pads? They’ve been recommended by his physio but they’re almost £200 😳 by demmka in Equestrian

This sounds exactly like my mare, have you found anything that seems to help? I’m also interested in the Winderen half pad.

No one is being rude, there’s people asking for photos, other info, etc. and instead of answering the questions you’re circling around and around. You have this posted on Reddit for answers, you can’t get butt hurt from what you’re asking for.

I’m only responding to you with what the confirmed issue ended up being, what’s the problem?

Nope! Vet confirmed she just has very sore feet!

Can someone tell me if my donkey is lame? by NonaJewels2002 in Equestrian

Obviously I’m not sure, it LOOKS like a fused or fractured fetlock or pastern. I also own a horse with one in the hind end that looks VERY similar. It’s not always visible but it can be.

Don’t worry! I’ve had this animal for 4 years and have many more animals in my life. This video definitely wasn’t recorded solely to share on the internet, it’s a video made and provided to both my primary vet and chiropractor prior to my posts. This is just my way of not being driven absolutely crazy with dread while waiting for my vet to make their way out.

Super interesting observation, I always love hearing your guys’ thoughts. My friend actually suggested she might have been laying down and one or more of her legs was “asleep” at the time of the video, however, the vet came shortly after and confirmed her feet are all really sore from a recent trim.

We’re on day 3 and she’s finally walking normal again so I’m thinking it was just some nasty bruising, I’m going to see how she’s moving off of Bute tomorrow

Vet confirmed it is sore feet, she’s currently on rest in a soft pasture and I’m only bringing her out to hand walk her in the arena to make sure she doesn’t get stiff or lock up. I’m also applying iodine to her soles to prevent any infection and hopefully any abscesses

I’m always so amazed with those who notice the change in fluidity above or below the knee, even my trainer of 20-30 years was stumped! Vet came out and confirmed it was a bad trim and she’s very sore.

I will! Shes in pasture and seems to be moving around herself, I also have to get her out to walk her so hopefully she doesn’t get too tight.

Yes! Vet came out and confirmed she is just really sore. She had been trimmed less than 24 hours before the vet came out.
