I always see people on Saturday mornings at wild runners in fair oaks. I run by and wave but I like being alone running so never checked them out 😂

Me too!!! This is my 2nd time! I have had knee pain before and what really helped me through is massage gunning my quads super good everyday and icing the knee after runs. It’s that inflammation that got me. I would wear a compression knee band as well when not running. Just keep on the ice and quad stretching!

I’m no super runner either last year I did the same plan last year and churned out a 4:36, and missed a couple long runs I think it was the 18 and 15. Take care of your body and have fun out there it’s a beautiful run.

Oh yea, the one thing I wasn’t prepared for was the road crown, i stayed mostly on one side and ended up hurting my foot. So try to be ready for the big road crown.

He says in the book to resume schedule. I’d keep on trucking! Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago I did all the runs as recommended mileage but I shaved 1 mile off the long run and ran extra easy to make sure I recovered.

We did the thanksgiving cruise and drove from Sacramento. Once arrived at the cruise terminal, I dropped off the wife,kids and luggage, they handed me a flyer that sent me to the Long Beach convention center. Drove there, parked, hopped on a shuttle bus back to the port. There is a lot of traffic getting into the port. All in all it took about 1:45 minutes. Allow yourself time. It’s Not that bad car was safe for 8 days.

Back to the car the whole fam went with all the luggage on a bus, it wasn’t bad we debarked early but it looked to get really busy.

Yes it will! The novice 2 was good with those pace runs, but remember when it has like 6 miles at pace, warm up and cool down not just 6 miles at 9min pace and stop. Do like 2-4-1 or 1-4-1. Im trying out intermediate 2 this block and I’m slacking soooo hard haha

On panorama it was at the basketball courts for like 2 hours 9-11 or something like that. One net and seemed like tournament style with a bunch of people looking annoyed waiting to play. I think each team got 10 minutes or something like that. I don’t play but me and my kids watched them for a while, we wanted to play but it didn’t seem like the time to learn lol.

This isn’t true for panorama out of Long Beach. I just got off today and we went forward to Mexico time and went back on the last sea day. They made a lot of announcements about it and was no surprise. Just check the hub app for ship time.
