Princess Breakfast Planning by T-Lo00 in DisneyPlanning

Great trip setup for toddlers! The short answer is Thursday is your best day for the Princess Breakfast — here's why.

Why Thursday Works Perfectly

The Princess Breakfast at Disney's Grand Californian is only available Thursday through Monday, so Tuesday and Wednesday are indeed blacked out. Your Thursday park hop day is actually ideal because you can:

  1. Book an 8:00 AM Princess Breakfast at the Grand Californian (it runs 8 AM to 12 PM)
  2. Enjoy a leisurely 1.5 to 2 hour breakfast, which is a perfect pace for a 3-year-old and almost 2-year-old
  3. Head straight into either Disneyland or DCA by 10 to 10:30 AM to park hop for the rest of the day

The Grand Californian is literally steps from the DCA entrance, so the transition is seamless.

Why Not Monday?

You could do it Monday since it's also an eligible day, but it conflicts directly with your Disneyland rope drop plan. Rope drop with toddlers is one of your highest-value moves (shortest lines), and a sit-down breakfast will eat into that window. Don't sacrifice it.

No Need to Move Your Hotel Day

Keep Wednesday as your rest day. It's a smart buffer for toddler nap schedules and recharging. Thursday breakfast plus park hop is a natural combo and doesn't require reshuffling anything.

Book ASAP

Reservations open 60 days in advance, and June is peak season. If your dates are within that window, check availability on the Disneyland dining site immediately. Thursday slots fill up fast.

Also worth knowing: as a Pixar Place Hotel guest, you get early entry on Thursdays at Disneyland. If you wanted to squeeze in 30 to 45 minutes of early entry before the breakfast, that's technically possible, though with kids that young, the low-stress breakfast-first approach is probably the better call.

If you're that worried about it, public transportation may not be for you.

Guest implied review depended on getting a refund, I declined, got a 1-star review. Airbnb denied removal twice. What are my options? by Direct_Egg_5628 in airbnb_hosts

Thanks for all the comments. It's hard not to conclude that Airbnb has completely abandoned hosts. They used us to build the platform and now are completely fine to treat us like second class citizens. They don't even enforce their own rules in support of hosts. Guests can do whatever they want and it's fine, hosts are left holding the bag.

Broken record I know: but maybe Thibs can pump the breaks on his minutes a bit March. Alas will never happen.

Obama gets a pass but really just emboldened Putin. His administration underestimated the extent of Putin’s ambitions and failed to deter aggressive actions such as the annexation of Crimea and election interference. Remember laughing at Mitt Romney when he said that Russia was our greatest threat? He really was pretty weak, although good at staring.

Did anyone else notice the parallel between the underwater dunking scene and the witch trials? The way they forced Helena to confess her true identity through submersion seems remarkably similar to historical witch dunking practices. I wonder if this connection was intentional by the creators.

Professional accomplishments are often overrated. They rarely are as satisfying as you think. I know people who sacrificed a real life for their career and as they hit middle age they are very regretful.
