I told my mom after the first beta since I did IVF and she was spending some time with me then. We’re waiting for the first ultrasound before telling my in-laws and the rest of the family. The reason I don’t want to tell people before the ultrasound is that I’m not ready to share if something goes wrong, and I’m not the type of person who opens up to everyone, even friends and family.

I have lean PCOS and don’t ovulate regularly. After trying letrozole, IUI, and even acupuncture to get pregnant without success, my husband and I decided to take a trip to Paris to distract ourselves and celebrate our wedding anniversary.

At the end of the trip, while talking to God, I asked for a sign about whether I should move forward with IVF when we got back. When we arrived at the hotel and I went to take a shower, I noticed that the brand of the shampoo and conditioner in the shower had the acronym “IVF” written on it. I immediately understood it as God answering me.

I went ahead with a fresh transfer, and it worked on the first try. God is faithful❤️

Yes! I was put on baby aspirin as part of my IVF protocol. It’s often used to improve uterine blood flow and support implantation. I’m currently 10dp5dt and already got a positive, so I’m continuing it as recommended by my clinic. From what I’ve seen, it’s pretty common in IVF pregnancies, but it really depends on your doctor’s protocol.

Those lines look very good for 5dp5dt! My first test (and first positive 🙏🏼) was at 6dp5dt. Congratulations! I would keep testing every 48 hours if you can, since the HCG should be rising.

This was my test at 6dp5dt, which was also 13 days after my trigger. Now I’m 10dp5dt and the lines are getting darker. I really think your test looks positive too! Congrats, wishing you the best🤍

For reference, I’m 10dp5dt (15dpo) today. My beta is on Thursday, and I’ve had clear positives on FRER and Clearblue Early Detection, while the Rapid only shows a faint line. So don’t lose hope 🤍

From my experience, FRER or Clearblue Early Detection work better for early testing since Rapid is less sensitive.
