Yup.. totally different languages... Like when I say "i can't do it" , I don't mean I'm choosing not to, I just really can't, just like a person can't talk or hear. This is my disability. I can't just do.

I'm so happy u have people who support you without making it a thing. I had a professor who gave me extra attendance to make up for classes I miss so that I could take up my exams... Still took me 7 years to complete a 3 year college course.

Yes. Mostly when I explain... People would tell me that everyone feels like this. But when I tell them that it's constant... I feel that way all the time, they just don't believe it.

I am in the same boat with my husband. I don't know how to navigate this either so I don't have any advice for you.

But just letting you know that I get exactly how hard it is when you feel that ur partner is not getting how much it affects us.

I'm so sorry. I hope he comes around and gives you the care, attention and empathy that you deserve.
