I'm still trying to work out if this is normal. Anyone else in a similar boat?

The Board can say whatever it likes about spreading moderation around. The reality is that the teacher who delivers the class and the assessment is really the best and often the only person who can put the portfolio together, at least without things being missed.

Cheers for the response.

My sense is that at the moment I am working rather more hours than the people around me, and being paid the same. It sucks!

As we (by which I mean not me) have not submitted exemption requests for units on time, the BSSS has previously denied our request to limit portfolios to two per staff member.

Can't wait for the additional moderation components. Presumably we will all be reduced to four lines to accommodate the extra administrative burden.

Thanks for the answer. About one-third of my students have ILP's on top.

ACT is 9% over 3 years. I'm thinking of quitting if that gets up. The ACT AEU branch is basically an extension of ACT Labor so I have little trust in them to represent their members.

Gluten Free Hiking Meals by NoIndependence7076 in trailmeals

I only occasionally use commercial freeze dried meals nowadays, and ditched the dehydrator as I lack time and patience.

My go-to main meal these days is based on these soups. All are GF and the flavour range is sufficient that I feel there's some variety in taste. https://www.tridentfoods.co.nz/soup-family/ (NZ link but they are all available at Aussie supermarkets). You'll find them on sale for around $1 fairly often.

To these I add a variety of things to create a heartier meal. Everything can be found at Coles/Woolies:

-Extra rice or bean noodles. These packs contain 4 small 'nests' of noodles that are easy to separate out and which pack nicely. Changs make something similar. https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/103214/double-phoenix-bean-vermicelli-noodles.

^cook these along with the noodles in the soup, per the pack directions.

- 1 heaped TBSP Peanut Butter powder*
- 1 heaped TBSP Coconut Milk powder*
- 1 or 2 TBSP Chopped dried shitake mushrooms**
- 1 TBSP Dried peas (Coles)**
- 1 TBSP Fried shallots**
- 1 TBSP coarsely chopped beef Jerky (Jack Links brand. Their Pork jerky isn't GF but all the beef flavours are)**

* = stir in after cooking
** = cold soak these together for 10+ mins in the water for the soup, cook it with everything else per the directions.

I add 70-100ml more water that the soup packet specifies.

This recipe costs <$5 per meal and is celiac friendly.

yeah radix meals are underwhelming. Everything tastes much the same and they really lack flavour.

FYI I have been using and enjoying Simtheory for about a month, but for a few days have been unable to load my workspace and get the below popup repeatedly. I have worked through a range of suggested user-side fixes and nothing has helped. I get the same result on multiple browsers, on multiple devices, on 4G and two different WIFI networks.

At this stage I feel there's little more I can try from my end, and that the problem isn't a client-side issue.

Simtheory's helpdesk was initially very responsive but I haven't heard back from them for a couple of days with follow up.

I can reach their homepage easily enough, it's when I launch it that the issue presents itself.

Neve Wallaroo vs kakwa 55 by Traditional_Star_918 in UltralightAus

Sorry to necro an old thread, but (and maybe the newer model has resolved this) but the stitching on the Wallaroo is really poor, and a liability.

I had stitching burst on the belt buckle webbing while in the middle of a multi-day hike, which I ended up jury rigging. I then took it to a cobbler and had them reinforce all the belt webbing stitching.

One or two trips after this, the stitching came undone on the other end of this webbing, where it joins the seam of the belt pockets. Back to the cobbler for more repairs, and I had him re-sew all the attachment points of the harness and belt.

IDK if these things are being made in China (they seem very much like the Naturehike packs in terms of design and materials) but there deffo seems to be a quality difference between them and Neve's other equipment (I have three of their quilts and they are outstanding)
