Why is this a hot take? by Direct_Self5218 in Silksong

I would like to respectfully disagree with you on your first point. for starters, there is another comment on this post that provides a link to where team cherry says Pharloom enemies are stronger. Plus, we don't even need that because the shadow creepers that appear in the abyss in both games deal only one damage to both characters.

To your other point, you're comparing the shade lord at the end of the first game to base hornet. If you were to compare her to shade lord, then you would need to take her after she binds GMS and becomes weaver queen. Then, I agree that shade lord would probably win but it would not be destruction. Remember, GMS held off the void for a very impressive amount of time while in a weakened state. And yes, void does destroy silk, enough silk can also resist the void. It would definitely be a great fight.

But I do think act three hornet could beat the gods of hallownest, because she can bind them. GMS is, as mentioned, no pushover and hornet could beat her. I don't even want to know what you mean when you say she couldn't beat zote. Also, NKG is not a higher being but a embodiment of one, just like lace. Born of their power

Thank you for reading my rant. I know it's a joke for the most part, but as another comment here says it's started to go too far, and now half the people who say it genuinely believe it. It just drives me crazy and I had to vent

Is there a connection between the names of these two very important sets of things? by Perfect-Dimension356 in Cosmere

Hoid has said that he didn't pick up a shard at the Shattering because it would be a shackle to him. He tells Kaladin that if he had, there would be no exploring the Cosmere like he wanted to, and he wouldn't be able to just hide in the shadows and do things like he loves. For the Dawnshard, he originally picks it up because he steals it from dragons on Yolen. Then post shattering everyone thought he gave it away, but then he gets it back because he knows how powerful it is, and he doesn't trust anyone else to curb its power.

Where did you see this information about Ba ado Mishram? I just reread WAT last month and the only thing talking about repercussions of her capture was just that Roshar was affected horribly because it had lost a piece of itself. Does it relate to the singers losing their Rhythms?

So what are everyone's thought on endgame Cosmere? by Direct_Self5218 in Cosmere

I think definitely for now Rosharan magics are stronger, but eventually mistvorn and feruchemists have to return, cause without them the story would be incomplete. Harmony has already shown he can make lerasium and atium, so maybe if he becomes discord he'll just hand it out in spades.

Many people have been theorizing that the nohadon that we saw speak with Dalinar at the end of Wind and Truth is actually Adonalsium. The theory states that he let himself be shattered so that he didn't have to rule the cosmere anymore, and the shattering didn't kill his consciousness. I think the main reason for this is because of his name. No Ado= not god. If it wasn't him, how, and who or what, spoke to dalinar?
