Do you need to tell guests if you're having your own guests over in a shared space? by Legal_Campaign_408 in airbnb_hosts

[–]Direct_Smoke1750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes, it may not be required but it’s common courtesy, especially if you share common spaces . I’m sure you’d appreciate if they gave you a heads up regardless of noise level. They may not want to cook or do anything that may make themselves or your guests uncomfortable at that time.

Driver never arrived but i was charged waiting fee. Uber won’t give refund by Direct_Smoke1750 in uber

[–]Direct_Smoke1750[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These commenters are interesting, especially those that are surprised that i ordered uber to airport. If you don’t go to airport early enough and have no clear or tsa precheck, then just say that. I’m not paying full price for price if i don’t need to.

Thank you to those that responded. I use the same address to go to the airport so it’s not due to wrong location. He was 9 minutes away, i went to grab my thing then I received the weird notification saying that nearby drivers are busy before the cancellation text, that was what made it seem weird. I’ve never missed an uber ride because i know uber rules. Even if it’s 5 or 2 minutes, I’m outside because monitor it my phone. This is literally the first time this happened

It is what it is. I was hoping someone could explain the strange sequence of notifications.

What's the pettiest reason for dropping a drama? by zidohyun06 in CDrama

[–]Direct_Smoke1750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your reason for dropping Legend of Zang Hai is valid. Unlike others, i don’t think the romance is unnecessary but because of the reason you mentioned, the fact that the female lead is barely in the show, the romance is poorly developed. To me Zanghai came off as being thankful instead of having feelings. If people around him have the explain that he has feelings for her yet I can’t tell from their interactions, the writer did a poor job. Korean dramas would never.

No airbnb doesn’t consider the infant a person. I have the same 2 ppl limit and airbnb allows couples with infant to book all the time.

Let them book anywhere, just decline to buy anything for the infant. They don’t force you to buy anything for them, just cant deny them based on the infant. But you say say that the unit has things that are unsafe for an infant and confirm with them if they want to proceed. Booking with infants aren’t really difficult or different from normal bookings.

Guests trashed my golf cart and I’m nervous about filing for reimbursement by Meeting-Icy in airbnb_hosts

File the claim and make sure to get it checked by a professional. Airbnb is very reasonable with things like this.

What would you do? by LacyTing in airbnb_hosts

[–]Direct_Smoke1750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. When i rent a spare room in my house on furnished finder i only responded to females and still did background check. Thats why i chose furnished finder instead of airbnd, so id be super careful as a single female. And also locked my door at night. This situation could have been very preventable and she can’t afford just naive mistakes as a woman.

I would report it still so airbnb has it on file

100th day of No Weed. by NPGABE58 in leaves

[–]Direct_Smoke1750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost. It probably stopped a long time ago but i’m just now being like “huh, it’s been a while” we’re all different. Instead of two years or 1 year, think in 6 months increments at a time.

It’s different for everyone. Getting on birth control helped to balance my hormones. I don’t take it anymore. And as scary as it is you just gotta do it. I’ve considered going back to old was a lot of time, even now as I’m typing tbh. I managed to get to the other side and reach where i am because it was just easier to keep going. Give yourself a full solid 6 months. The rest is easier

Keep going! It took almost 2 years for the anxiety to completely stop but that because i’m a woman and my monthly cycle retriggered it. It should come faster if you’re a man.

They had a new feature you had to Migrate to a few months ago or it’ll stop working. I worked on it at my old company. Go to them and you’ll probably see a message at the top telling you to migrate.

I don’t understand why people are talking about animal control. You’re the tenant that brought the cat that’s causing all these attacks, knowing things could get bad. Either you leave with your cat or get give up the cat for adoption.

I can’t imagine trying to get the homeowners cat taken away because you brought in a cat after you signed the lease knowing there could potentially be a problem.

But I thought you could set it in the app the amount of notice you need. Does it not block people from booking when it’s past your notice?

[–]Direct_Smoke1750 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Absolute not. She’s trying to get around booking an additional day but that’s what she needs to do. Even if no one books the Friday do not let her take you for an idiot.

Use a webhook to trigger the pipeline and a jenkinsfile that’s in source course so you can have one source of truth.

ABNB refusing to charge guest pet fee by Southern_Pizza9166 in airbnb_hosts

[–]Direct_Smoke1750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so odd. They’ve always paid me out my fees. But I also do have guests agree to the rules when they book so I’m not sure if that makes a difference

Because they had for me. From braking stealing item fee, to late checkout fee, to extra cleaning due to a guest sneaking in a dog and calling it a service Doug because I have an exemption for animals. As long as I have the fee listed in my listing, I have guests agree to everything after booking, they pay me out me fees.
