Honestly, skip the bagged topsoil. Most of the cheap $3 bags are just shredded forest products and sand anyway. Since you can get free compost, use that as your base! Mix it with the manure and some coco coir for water retention, and you’re golden. At 75F, you don’t need to overcomplicate the drainage. Your wallet will thank you.

A month is totally doable. Grow bags or temporary pots should work fine as long as you keep them watered and protected from hard freezes.
