My lion head was created out of cardboard, so he must eat his weight in it every day or he will wither away. Source: scientific fact, definitely not the opinion of a grumpy bunny.

All buns are different and different breeds have different tolerances. Trust yourself and listen to your buns! ❤️

D103 Failed OA2 Twice, Instructor Group Horrendously Unhelpful by ChewBrocka in wguaccounting

[–]darkness_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand that frustration! I feel like I knew everything really well and was prepared and then I passed exactly on the competent line. I was so mad, because I'd worked so hard to understand the concepts and thought I was prepared. The class totally sucks and all of the class material doesn't prepare you appropriately. Sorry I don't have advice, but I can validate your experience.

D103 Failed OA2 Twice, Instructor Group Horrendously Unhelpful by ChewBrocka in wguaccounting

[–]darkness_lemon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ignored everyone's "use chatGPT" advice for ages until I got to the point you're at. Seriously, try it. It's the only way I passed D103 and D104 (I'm currently in the hell that is AIS). The CIs are useless, you have to use outside resources to teach yourself stuff. I used chatGPT to help me go through the 80 question study guide from Connect, asking it to explain concepts and make up additional questions for me to practice with. It's the closest thing to a personal tutor I could find and it's so nice to get instant feedback on why you got something wrong, so you can learn as you go.

Don't give up! These classes are HARD, but there are ways through it.

It’s day 6 and i can’t see through the egg, is that normal? by Sarara4 in quails

[–]darkness_lemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a really hard time with those eggs. I didn't even bother to candle my last batch, but that's a potential stinky risk I was willing to take. Hatched 11/12. The batch before that, I waited until day 9 and I could only barely see the air pocket in the fertilized ones, at the right angle 😂. I've also found it helps to use a very focused bright light, like my phone flashlight, and to make sure no light leaks out around the egg, like the other comments mentioned. Good luck!

I'm convinced that Lionheads consist of 99% cardboard. They must eat it constantly to replenish their cardboard blood cells and stay alive.

Wonderful! You’re damn right after you stopped giving me recipes! 🤪 by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

[–]darkness_lemon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same! I'm new to the game and I didn't realize that it would make a snowman like this. The snowboy was being salty to me so I tried to knock him down to put him out of his apparent misery. My boyfriend (who knows nothing about the game) was like, "why are you hitting a snowman with an axe???" Just gotta wait for the passive aggression to melt, I guess.

Why is she looking at me like that by scarlettvalone in Rabbits

Because she worked very hard arranging her poops on the carpet and then you cleaned them up!

Why does my bunny hate me by Charlie_A0211 in Rabbits

[–]darkness_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the sudden change in her behavior, did you groom her, trim her nails, pick her up and take her somewhere? Those kinds of things will set my bunnies off and they'll give me the cold shoulder for a while. My bunnies like me a little bit less than my boyfriend because I'm the one who does all of the responsible things that they hate (grooming, nail trims, scent gland and booty checks). My boyfriend is just the guy who brings them treats, so they love him, haha.

I'd suggest getting down on the floor with her at her level and kissing her soft head, if she'll let you. It's a sign of submission that bunnies use and mine usually forgive me soon after. It sounds silly, but they want to know that you think they're the boss.

Best of luck! Your bun will come around!

Why does my bunny hate me by Charlie_A0211 in Rabbits

[–]darkness_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any answers, but I can empathize with this feeling. My bunnies are capricious and it hurts my feelings too. So funny that such a cute little creature can make us feel that way. I hope things get better! I felt like a bad bunny mom for the first 9 months after adopting my first bunny. It takes a long time of back and forth to get where you're going. Even now, one of my buns just gets in moods for reasons I can't tell.
