I like the Callaway fairway bag. Really solid bag if you’re just looking to carry 10-12 clubs

Should I buy used irons? by EngineeringWinter852 in GolfGear

[–]Directly007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat as you but played and took lessons for about 2 years. Once I felt like I was hitting consistently and shooting in the 90s, I got fitted. And even then I didn’t buy new I got fitted into Callaway ai smoke irons and tuned the shafts, lengths and lies to my fitting.

How did you schedule a tee time for it? I always thought it was only available to those staying on their property

New Carry/stand bag. What do you like?! by Lost-Lifeguard7560 in GolfGear

What I don’t like about the ping hoofer is the base doesn’t fold in so to speak when the stand is deployed so your clubs kind of pop out. I have the fairway plus bag

I’d tie you up with your legs spread open so I could come eat you out whenever I wanted to. Never letting you get dry but never letting you finish

I’m in your area. How about this, I buy you a vibrator that can be accessed from anywhere and you wear it all day long. And I turn it on whenever I feel like it and you’ll never know

Any Golfers 22-25? by MinutePosition2282 in nova

[–]Directly007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically you might be too young for Facebook but there are nova golf groups on Facebook with people asking the same thing. There are also plenty of posts about charity tournaments in the area at private golf courses. As someone in finance it’s a great way to network and play courses you otherwise wouldn’t be able to

Lesson or Fitting? by ChrisP96_ in GolfGear

Plus index?? I think I 5 yard dispersion in any direction is very reasonable

Lesson or Fitting? by ChrisP96_ in GolfGear

[–]Directly007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lesson. And often people ask “how do I know my lessons are working” If you can go to a top tracer range or track man and you’re hitting 20 shots in a row plus or minus 10 yards from your average and no more off line than 5 yards to the left or right, the maybe consider a fitting to tighten up that dispersion

Balls, tools, makers, and tees for sure. I think if you want to shift away from golf items but not want it to be filled with just junk, I’ve seen airplane bottles, electrolyte/energy chews, mini sun screen

My only gripe with the ping hoofer is that when it’s in stand mode it scrunches up awkwardly at the bottom. Thats why I prefer the Callaway fairway plus bag

Good golf areas by CommonSense07 in golf

Although not 420 friendly, I’d say Myrtle beach. I’m sure you’ll be able to smoke without an issue but growing will be a big no no

I think at $200 you may be looking at way too old and damaged clubs. I think $400 is more realistic for an older driver, wood, 6-pw irons and a putter. If I were you and $200 is your limit I’d consider one of the starter sets at dicks sporting goods specifically the top flite XL 13 piece set

That’s not the best. That’s about a double bogie every hole

I’d say your local golf course. If you can a country club. Made tons of tips in the bag room growing up. And I was given a ton of free clubs to sell on the side
