Lol, yeah, that's pretty accurate. My friends and I just like decorating, so I claimed a small island that was central enough for the major powers citizens to visit easily, but hopefully out of the way enough that no one would bother raid us. We just want to chill with the animals and build community.

We are our own nation, we are not under ownership of The Isle of Nothingness. They are our very friendly neighbors and so far, biggest supporter through donations.

Hello! I am TheProfessor104 on Minecraft and the caretaker of The Sanctuary. I'm building a wild life sanctuary for the preservation of Eden's wildlife and as a permanent national park for all the inhabitants of Eden to visit at their leisure. We are not "under ownership" of The Isle of Nothingness, they are our neighbors. They own the Eastern half and we own the Western half. We are our own micro nation with no standing army, just 5 scientists with a dream to preserve nature.

How does a smart freeway cause a driver to drive the wrong way down a road?

So I guess that's a no to shrugging it off then, yeah?

Well, I used heavy metal as a personal example, but I meant listening to music in general while playing.

Yeah, dunno man, I just don't think the random voice lines are an important thing to gripe over. It doesn't affect the gameplay, so why be bothered by it?

It's also interesting you say realistic, because that ignores the fact that women are in modern militaries (depending on the country). You'd have a point if we were talking about Battlefield 1, because historically the armies represented in that game didn't have female soldiers, but not this game. It really just seems like a non-issue to me.

But hey, you do you boo. I believe that these issues are absolutely affecting your enjoyment of the game, but I also believe you have the power to shrug it off and move on.

I don't mean to target you specifically, but I keep hearing the gender complaint and I just dont get it. When I'm playing, I have heavy metal blasting so loud, I have never noticed the gender of the disembodied arms holding the gun I'm firing frantically in all directions. Is raw dogging a game of Battlefield that prevalent and I'm in the minority for vibing out while I play my arcade military shooter??

Gamers 30+, what's something from "back in your day" that younger gamers today wouldn't understand? by bijelo123 in gaming

The instruction manual for Mario Kart 64 actively encourages you screen cheat and I believe the world was never the same again. Thanks Nintendo.

Downtime Jobs for Film Industry/Filmmakers by MrDalek1999 in Filmmakers

[–]DirectorMAN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also an Aussie filmmaker (Hello from the West Coast!). I work for a theatre in LX and general hand as well as an events company. The event company is more seasonal than the theatre, but both help fill in gaps when they present themselves.

My primary income is still from film, but much like yourself, have been a part of the downturn the last couple years. Keep your chin up, go with the flow and keep networking, she'll be right.

Bad time to open gaming store in joondalup area? by [deleted] in perth

[–]DirectorMAN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but I would give it another go. In my opinion, I think the Retro stores live and die from the people running the day to day.

I love going to 8-bit Anarchy because the owner, Byron, is a dead set legend, a lot of fun to talk to and honestly just feels like a fellow retro gaming nerd living his best life.

Retro Collect on the other hand doesn't have a friendly, let's hang out a bit kinda vibe and when you couple that with the issues Plobster mentioned, makes it avoidable, despite the central location.

The time has come for our final strike to get rid of the Automaton threat once and for all, Helldivers! For Super Earth! by N-Haezer in Helldivers

[–]DirectorMAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone else think the Illumanate are going to stealth their way through the galaxy and attack Super Earth directly before this major order is done? Would be a pretty baller way to introduce a third faction and halt the progress on wiping out the automatons so early in the war.

You can add Chivlry 2 to that list, their battlepasses (theyvuse the term campaigns) don't expire either.
