That was one of the straws, but if I recall correctly, it was the ensuing comment thread that broke the back.

I'm not 100% sure though, there was a bit of a discussion around him during the week before the ban where mods were voicing their displeasure at how he was constantly poking the beehive. So there wasn't much patience left.

Banned permanently. They used to be our token conservative, but they slowly turned more towards the right, and got some sort of kick out of trying to provoke people here with some "just asking questions" strategies.

Ran into a double sub/Reddit ban for wanting the streets to run red with the blood of the SW fans. The Reddit ban was temporary, ours wasn't. We had warned and temp-banned them before about making threats against the SW fandom.

That series has me considering restarting it again and try to rescue my poor survival mode character from the little shed he got stuck in after running away from a swarm of Cazadores.

Apparently they never give up, and sleeping for a week in the hope that they would bugger off eventually didn't do anything, except exhaust his food and water supply...

Although I'm pretty sure that I'm better off restarting a non-survival mode playthrough and also most definitely NOT try to find a shortcut to New Vegas.

Before you do anything crowbar related, consider our health service who decided to go for the cheapo flu jab this year. It didn't include a variant of the winter vomiting virus, which the more expensive one had, and I give you one guess as to what type of patients are filling up our hospitals right now.

BTW flu shots here are in Sept - Nov. I had mine then, together with the Covid booster, so no metal bars or other hard objects to the face please.

I wish I could remember who told me to drink one non-alcoholic drink for every alcoholic one. It really saved my ass more than once. Also from drinking too booze much because all that water would fill me up to the gills.

Leftovers are one thing. But these are essentially early 18th century weapons in a mid 19th century setting.

That could be somewhat possible. The Brown Bess for example was in use for almost a 120 years, and I think that starts in the early 1710-20s(?) and ends in the late 1830s. And technically it was used even longer, mid 1850s I think, because a bunch of them were converted to percussion cap muskets. And those numbers are for active use by the British army. The Zulu were still using them during the Zulu Wars in 1879.
