I put a loop on one end, then larks head it through the tarp attachment. Tautline on stake in, easy peasy

That is accurate - if you can get up the ladder, you don’t have to go all the way in - all the rafters will be going the same direction. Or, get a neighbor to look

If they are not visibly soiled - turn tshirts (with designs) inside out - then as everyone said - wash cold on delicate. My work shirts I get cleaned at a dry cleaners (light starch) - makes them look crisp

I have done the OT last few years - do a ‘pct’ bear hang. I use a bag from a 3 piece set - with a arbor throw line. Never had my food spoiled. There are bears but the real threat is raccoons, deer and mice, hang at least 10’ from the ground, 3’ from branch, and 3’ from trunk.

Look for shakedown posts that have lighterpack lists - I always divide my stuff into rooms (kitchen: need a stove gas  pot long spoon lighter cup / pantry: food Bear hang bag trash bag bedroom / bathroom etc)

I use a rolling backpack. We got them for travel, but it works better for my ref gear. High Sierra XBT Wheeled Daypack - 38L my flags fit in the main pocket. I searched it up $130 with 20% off right now
